Harold has lived here his whole life and knows the local waters like the back of his hand. When you fish with Captain Harold, he'll make sure the trip is tailored to your individual needs.
His boat is a 23' Carolina Skiff that's powered by a single 140 HP Suzuki engine. Skiffs are a great option for inshore fishing because of their ability to traverse shallow waters very easily. There's plenty of room on the boat for up to six prospective anglers.
St. Joe's fishery has a variety of options open for people interested in getting some good fishing done. You'll be able to target fish species like Flounder, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Black Seabass, Tripletail, and plenty more besides. We had a fantastic time with Captain Man! He got us on the white trout quickly and after we got plenty in the cooler, he took us out to try for some tripletail. He provided excellent intruction and guidance on how to land them and we ended up catching several, including one niced sized keeper. Captain Man is a great down to earth guy and we enjoyed swapping hunting and fishing stories with him. We will definitely book with him again when we get back to the area!
captain man makes this trip so enjoyable! he is full of laughs and good times. we booked pretty last minute (in the afternoon) and although we did not catch any fish, it was still an amazing time. captain man tried many different things to get us some fish, which we really appreciated. it was our first time fishing on the ocean, my partner and i learned so much! we cant wait to go out again with capt man!!
Had such a good time with “Man.” No need to do any research on fishing guides for next year. We’re booking with Fat Boy! Next year, and every year he’s available!
This is our second year w/ Captain Mann and will Def not be our last. Although we didn't catch any fish, we did have an enjoyable day with him as usual. He tried his best to take us to all the spots to get some fish, they were just not hungry! (None of the other charters that day had any luck either). We appreciated him giving us extra time to try and also helping us have a lots of laughs regardless. Would recommend him to all!
always enjoy our trip with fat boy charters. caught our limit of redfish, and always appreciate the bag of freshly cleaned fish at the end. great captain, does well with non-expert fishermen. trip can be adjusted for all ades and experience levels. he’ll call and confirm before, but be aware cell service on the cape is sketchy
