These waters are known for Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Redfish, Black Drum, Pompano, Mangrove Snapper, Whiting, Spanish Mackerel, Lane Snapper, Black Seabass, Blacktip Shark, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!'
On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask about child-sized life vests, some are available.
Your excursion begins aboard a 22' PathFinder Bay boat with a 175 hp Yamaha that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has everything else you need for a productive day on the water.
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is included.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

He modified our route so we didn't have to cancel because of high winds/rough conditions in the bay. We look forward to booking again when we return.

Half Day Fishing Trip 4 people max on June 11, 2025 • 4 adultsWe booked a trip with Kokomo Charters PSJ for June 10th but the weather was looking a bit sketchy. Captain Charles gave me a call and asked if we would like to move our trip to June 11th. It turned out to be a good move. We had a beautiful day with plenty of action to keep Charles busy rebaiting and retying. We caught a wide variety of fish and plenty to bring back to put in the frying pan. Captain Charles was just a great down to earth and easy going guy. Very polite and a guy you could fish with for days on end. He went above and beyond to try to get everyone in on the action. Next time we're in town I'll be looking to go for another boat ride. Tight lines!

From the moment of reservation to getting our packaged catch to bring home, he made the process worry free. The fishing trip itself was great for all of us. He put us on fish and worked tirelessly making sure we were baited up, tangle free and casting in the best spots to give us a chance. At the end of the trip, all his hard work paid off for us. To make all of it even better, Captain Charles is a tremendous person and made the trip the highlight of our vacation. If we ever make it back, he will be our first call. You will be missing out if you don't schedule a trip with him!

Half Day Fishing Trip 4 people max on May 18, 2025 • 4 adultsBefore the trip even started I would text through the fish booker site and Captain Charles would respond instantly and answer my questions. We were catching so many fish, pulling in 2 and even 3 at the same time! We caught 42 fish in 4 hours. Highly recommend using Kokomo Charters! We are doing a huge fish fry while we are still here. But not frying the sea bass, I’m going to pan sear with lemon garlic butter. That will be a tasty sea bass! Thanks Captain Charles!!!!!!!!!

Captain was great - that made all the difference between an ok trip and a great trip. Captain Charles was knowledgeable, courteous, and a good conversationalist. He helped the novices and let the experienced fisherman do their thing with just the right touch. Captain Charles knew lots of great spots and checked with his fellow captains on where the fish were biting . We experienced fishing in spots and trawl fishing for mackerel. We ended up with a very good haul of fish, lots of happy memories, and several great pics of fishermen wtih their catches. We highly recommend Captain Charles.👍
We had a great trip with Capt. Charles! He went above and beyond to make sure we caught fish. I had said that I wanted to catch redfish…. and he delivered. We limited, and caught a couple too big for the slot limit! I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a great trip….and I probably will do just that!

Capt Charles is a terrific person and guide. He worked to get us on fish and he certainly did! He was very good and helpful to our12 year ol granddaughter a well as folks over 60. We can wait to fish with hi again! A++
Captain Charles was great with my kids. He put us on some fish and caught reds, black drums, flounder, and a few others! If the bites were slow he would move us to another spot. Would highly recommend booking.
