StriperXtreme is freshwater fishing charter run by Captain Bobby Crabtree during the entire year. This part of Eastern Tennessee is located near noteworthy places such as Pigeon Forge, the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood, and Gatlinburg, which means it can be loads of fun for the whole family.
Bobby has 2 boats he fishes out of one is a 24' Sea Ark that is powered by a 200hp Suzuki and the other is a 24' Angler Quest center console that's powered by a single 200 HP Suzuki engine. It's got all the necessary safety and navigation gear needed for a safe and productive day on the water, with enough room for up to 6 prospective anglers. It's got a livewell for bait, as well as a wireless trolling motor for when you need to run silent. Captain Bobby mainly uses live bait but also ustilizes trolling downriggers or any ther means to put fish in the boat.
If you have never fought a Striped Bass or Hybrid on Cherokee Lake, you don't know what you're missing out on. It is the strongest freshwater fish by far and great table fare as well. Bobby makes sure to follow Bass migration patterns, and always knows the best option for getting you on the fish quickly.
Rods, reels, and terminal tackle come included in the price of the trip. All you need to do is bring a valid fishing license, as well as a pair of sunglasses and some sunscreen. I purchased this trip for my Husband, Son, and Step Dad to have a great time together. I wasen’t expecting them to catch large fish due to time of year with this heat, But the captain got them on the fish and they had a blast. Highly Recommend this fishing charter. I took my 9 and 11 year old grandsons out with Captain Bobby Crabtree and we had a great time. The weather had been cold for a number of days and it was shutting down the fish. But Captain Bobby put us on fish first thing in the morning. He taught the 11-year-old how to read the depth finder, which he found fascinating. I live in Tampa, Florida, and my grandsons are in Atlanta. That makes it quite a drive, but it was well worth it. Thank you, Captain Bobby!

Four man limit of stripers and hybrids before 8:30AM. Captain Bobby was great, super knowledgeable, and worked hard to get us on the fish. Definitely will be booking again!

Tough fishing. Weather too warm and too much rain. one of the best most knowledgeable guides i have ever been with. He worked very hard to find fish. caught nice sized hybrids, 1 nice small mouth and a catfish. Again tough fishing but awesome giude. I would go with him again just a different time of year.
Thanks Tim it was tough to locate fish and stay on them, but under the conditions we had I thought we did very well boating several species and more than our limit on Hybrids. A limit of fish is always a good day. Thank you sir. Captain Bobby
The Service, the weather and Yes of course the Catch, caught Fish right from the Beginning until the End.. Captain Bobby was the BEST! conversation was great and knowledge of his Craft was Beyond expectation.. Highly recommend if you want a great fishing charter experience

Fishing is my true passion, I spend most of my days on the water and follow the migration patterns of Striped Bass. I really enjoy helping kids and watching people of all ages catch their first trophy fish. I fish mainly live bait but will use any means necessary to put fish in the boat, including downriggers, planner boards, umbrella rigs, and artificials. I am a licensed Captain through the US Coast Guard. I can launch from either Bean Station TN or Jefferson City TN.
