lodge Angeln in British Columbia

A fishing lodge combines accommodation, guiding, and fishing into a single all-inclusive escape, built for anglers who want to fish hard for days at a time. Most lodges occupy remote, fish-rich settings reached only by boat or float plane, ranging from rustic riverside cabins to full-service luxury retreats. The reward is access to water that day trips simply cannot reach. Alaskan lodges put anglers on all five Pacific Salmon alongside Halibut and Lingcod, Amazon jungle lodges deliver world-class Peacock Bass and prehistoric Arapaima, and Canadian operations hold trophy Walleye, Northern Pike, and Lake Trout. In Argentina, hard-fighting Golden Dorado and wild Trout headline the rivers of Patagonia.

A typical multi-day package covers lodging, home-cooked meals, daily guided fishing, and the boats and tackle matched to each fishery, with catch cleaning, filleting, and freezing so anglers can take their haul home. With logistics handled and expert guides on hand, days are spent entirely on the water and evenings swapping stories over dinner. Packages vary by lodge, so anglers should confirm what each stay includes – flights, transfers, licenses, and gratuities are common extras. As always, check local license, permit, and season rules for the destination before travelling.

(Morning Half Day – Salmon Trolling)

    Epic sunrise experience!

We had an epic sunrise! We’re a family of four with two children, ages 11 and 9, and Captain Wayne was friendly and, most of all, incredibly patient and great with the kids. They loved the experience! We couldn’t have asked for better conditions, and we caught our limit of salmon. It was truly a memorable family adventure, and we would highly recommend Captain Wayne!

    (Full trip out of Ladysmith)

    Choppy Conditions

Brennan put some prawn pots out over night but someone picked them up. We did catch a couple salmon bit where all small. Due to wave conditions we had to go fiah in a more sheltered area due to one of us getting sea sick. Brennan did a great job overall set hooks up and was very informative about the crabs and salmon.
