Fishing in Port Washington is on fire right now! Limit catches of coho salmon with king salmon and rainbow trout in the mix are being caught consistently. I went out for an evening trip last night with a couple friends. We caught two beautiful king salmon around sunset after catching eleven coho salmon and a two rainbow trout. Happy New Year! Recently, I went on a brown trout fishing trip on Lake Michigan in Port Washington, WI with my brother and a good friend. The brown trout were hungry! We kept our 3 man limit of 15 and caught and released the biggest brown trout of the day while winding in lines. Great fishing! Brown trout are great eating and fun to catch. I baked a couple of the fish we caught the other day and they were great tasting indeed! If you want to try fishing for winter or early spring brown trout, give me a call.
