We spent Spring Break 2026 in Destin for my son’s senior year. He really wanted to go deep sea fishing so we booked a 3hr trip with Capt Jonathan. The fish weren’t biting that day but we tried a bunch of spots and my kids and nephew caught a few decent ones and they had a blast for their first time charter fishing so I was pleased and the captain was a nice guy and was on the spot baiting their hook and casting for them which was cool. I was there just to watch them have fun! I would use the guy again for sure.

We had an awesome day on the water with Captain Jonathan! From the moment we left the dock, he worked hard to keep us on the fish and he delivered big time. The action was steady all day, and you could tell he really knew the area and how to read the water. What really stood out, though, was how great he was with my nine-year-old. We caught 11 different species of fish!  Red snapper, mangrove snapper, mahi, jack, speckled hind, cobia, and several others.  Jonathan put us on the fish, taught my son and I about the fish, and showed us how to improve our technique.  It was the best fishing trip we’ve ever had.
