Family of four here, and we were able to book the trip on short notice after being canceled on by another Captain due to wind. Captain Ralph is the real deal! We stayed in the bay to avoid the wind, and he had us on Striper almost immediately! Caught our limit along with a nice blue fish before motoring over to locate the seals on the sandbar. Ralph is great, he and the boat nothing fancy but clearly has spent a long time honing his craft. He was great with my kid and even entertained my father in law. Ralph persisted with us to get my kid on fish even though the interest when it came down to it was waning for him. Ralph still managed to get him involved. Had a great time on the FV Odysea. Captain Ralph was very knowledgeable and with many years of experience of fishing and the area made it a great day. Both myself and my son in law had an awesome time. Captain Ralph put us on the fish and we caught several, but had to throw a few back due to size limits. I would recommend this captain and fishing vessel to everyone. We plan on booking again with Captain Ralph next year.

This was our first time taking our kids out striper fishing and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Captain Ralph got us on the fish and was very helpful and informative. Everything was ready when we arrived making things easy and convenient. Great trip for the family. We will book again for sure.

Capt Ralph is the real deal. He is steeped in fishing knowledge and knew exactly where to go despite a giant hurricane a few days earlier. He knew where to go and when to pivot to a new plan. He started out looking for mackerel and suddenly saw stripped bass! We caught TWO keepers and one that was too big and went back to the sea.
