Book a longer trip. 4hrs is not quite enough time for me, but we had plenty to clean in our short 4hr trip.
We got lucky and the mahi found us while bottom fishing. So happy there is not a ton of sharks eating everything we caught.

Fishing is fishing. Sometimes you get a catch, sometimes you don't. The morning sun wasn't too bad but around 10am the sun starts to really hit you. The waves weren't too crazy but hit it just right and the boat will rock. We didn't catch anything today Aug 4th but I would go again if I had the time. Never know what you can get.

Plan ahead and book ahead because it's a small fleet and I was on the mahi-mahi 42 ft Hatteras and it was a wonderful trip but I raided not for children because the seas are anywhere from 5 to 15 ft and I mean all the time.

My fiancรฉ and I booked the 4 hour fish/snorkel trip the day before and absolutely loved the trip. I am not a fisherwoman by any stretch and my fiancรฉ primarily fishes in freshwater. Our Captain and wife (first mate) did everything to ensure our trip was great and they were so kind. Only regret is that we didnโt find them until the end of our trip or we would have booked another day with them!

September fishing, when the waters are warm is hit or miss. Rudy and Richard worked our 6 hour trip hard to get us on fish. They worked the South side of the island to 8 miles out, and we did catch fish. Two small black fin tuna, 7 small bonita and one mahi were the prize of the day.
They did there job, but the big fish weren't interested.

We took a 4 hour afternoon trip while our cruise was docked in Aruba and we had a blast! The โnormalโ sea conditions were pretty rough 4-6โs but captain and 1st mate were spot on they set out a full spread of rods and reels with outriggers and teasers! We caught a beautiful Wahoo and had a blast! Clean boat and complementary water and cokes on board were just a plus! Weโd definitely fish with the Dorothy crew again! Thanks guys!!!

Kenneth and Dennis are experienced locals and did a nice job for our family of four. Fishing can be hit or miss otherwise theyโd call it shopping, so hats off to them for hooking some fish for us. They recommended a restaurant next to the dock that did a terrific job preparing our Mahi Mahi for the freshest lunch one could have. We had an amazing time with Captain Tom and Chris! We went on a charter for our honeymoon in Hawaii and wanted to catch a Mahi but didnโt get a single bite. We had a Mahi on the line within an hour with Captain Tom. Took it back to our hotel and had a great lunch. Also caught a few tuna as well. Highly recommend High Times and we will definitely book when we are back in Aruba!

My fiancรฉ and I booked the 4 hour fish/snorkel trip the day before and absolutely loved the trip. I am not a fisherwoman by any stretch and my fiancรฉ primarily fishes in freshwater. Our Captain and wife (first mate) did everything to ensure our trip was great and they were so kind. Only regret is that we didnโt find them until the end of our trip or we would have booked another day with them!

September fishing, when the waters are warm is hit or miss. Rudy and Richard worked our 6 hour trip hard to get us on fish. They worked the South side of the island to 8 miles out, and we did catch fish. Two small black fin tuna, 7 small bonita and one mahi were the prize of the day.
They did there job, but the big fish weren't interested.

We took a 4 hour afternoon trip while our cruise was docked in Aruba and we had a blast! The โnormalโ sea conditions were pretty rough 4-6โs but captain and 1st mate were spot on they set out a full spread of rods and reels with outriggers and teasers! We caught a beautiful Wahoo and had a blast! Clean boat and complementary water and cokes on board were just a plus! Weโd definitely fish with the Dorothy crew again! Thanks guys!!!

Kenneth and Dennis are experienced locals and did a nice job for our family of four. Fishing can be hit or miss otherwise theyโd call it shopping, so hats off to them for hooking some fish for us. They recommended a restaurant next to the dock that did a terrific job preparing our Mahi Mahi for the freshest lunch one could have. Thanks again for a great day and weโll see you next time weโre in Aruba.

Capt Alexandro is very professional. It was a tough weather day. Very choppy seas. He still was able to put us on fish. I will definitely fish with him when I visit Aruba again

Great time with Capt. Kenny and Dennis. We caught fish within the first hour and ended up with 2 mahi mahi, and one blackfin tuna. had to cut the trip short due to some uneasy stomachs with our group, but no fault of the capt. and crew.

Captain and crew were great. Had a double hookup maybe an hour after leaving the dock. Having two novice fishermen with us , glad they got to experience trolling for the first time. Will definitely come back fish for billfish.

We had the best time. Alex and Kelly were so patient with my two young children. We caught so many fish and when it got too hot, we shifted gears to go swimming. Overall the day was great but mostly kelly and Alex are just kind, easy going people and we really enjoyed their company.

We had an amazing time with Captain Tom and Chris! We went on a charter for our honeymoon in Hawaii and wanted to catch a Mahi but didnโt get a single bite. We had a Mahi on the line within an hour with Captain Tom. Took it back to our hotel and had a great lunch. Also caught a few tuna as well. Highly recommend High Times and we will definitely book when we are back in Aruba!
