Mosman is an area located towards the end of Sydney Harbour, close to the North Head. A Mosman fishing trip will give you the option to head out of the Harbour for some offshore fishing, or to fish inside the Harbour. 

What to expect

If heading offshore, you’ll begin by targeting Kingfish, Pink Snapper, and the occasional Mahi Mahi without traveling too far out of the Harbour. A further ride out will have you arriving at the continental shelf quickly, where you can target pelagic species such as Blue, Striped, and Black Marlin, along with Yellowfin, Bluefin, and Albacore Tuna. 

For anglers with no fishing experience, you can stay in the Harbour and target Tailor, Bream, Flathead, Pink Snapper, Austraian Salmon, and more. These are fun fish that your whole family will enjoy targeting!

How to prepare

Charter captains in this area will provide all the fishing gear you need, as well as a fishing license. They'll also advise you of current health and safety regulations, as well as the local catch size and limits.
