January
Visit Cabo in January, and you'll enjoy some of the best weather of the year. This is usually a dry month, so you can head out and search for Striped Marlin and Yellowfin Tuna offshore, along with Roosterfish inshore.
February
The conditions are generally good but spring storms are a possibility. Watch out for colder currents potentially hampering the conditions. But inshore fishing is very good and the bottom bite heats up offshore, too.
March
Spring Break sees great conditions in Cabo. The Marlin bite can slow down at the start of the month, but it may come back at the end, while Yellowtails and Spanish Mackerel show up inshore for a real fishing frenzy.
April
With temperatures in the mid 80s and humidity generally lower than usual, April has great conditions with virtually no rain. You'll find Striped Marlin and Dorado biting offshore, with Yellowtail and Roosterfish inshore.
May
It weather really begins to heat up come May. Offshore, you can find a good Striped Marlin bite, with exciting Dorado action too. Closer to shore, the Roosterfish season begins to kick off for real, so get your fill!
June
With water temperatures averaging 94 degrees, this is a month for those who like it hot. Fish offshore for Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Wahoo, and big Tuna. Inshore, Roosterfish is on fire, and Snappers and Groupers are biting.
July
July is the warmest month in Cabo and the fishing is hot, too. This is a month for Billfish fans, with Striped Marlin, Sailfish, and Blue Marlin all in the cards. Don't forget about inshore, where monster Roosterfish await.
August
You guessed it – it's hot. August is the wettest month of the year, but don't let that put you off. This is the month for big game anglers, with Black and Blue Marlin on the list Inshore, Wahoo and Dorado join Roosterfish.
September
Tropical storms may threaten but, when the weather allows, this is one of the best months for fishing. You'll find big Yellowfin Tuna, Blue and Black Marlin, and Sailfish to name a few offshore, with Roosterfish in the bay.
