Unfortunately grouper was closed, so that wasn't an option this round. It closed just days before our trip, not a reflection on the trip itself, just the way of things here. A cold front pushed in, limiting how far out we could go.

March was a good time of year to go (March 23rd for us) as it was slightly cool to start, but warm and enjoyable enough and never TOO hot.

We have fished a few places in SW Florida in the past year. Englewood is a gorgeous community without the hectic feel of Naples or Ft Myers. We had fish on all day long. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a more laid back fishing day, where you catch a lot of fish, which is more of what my family enjoys.

Yes...stayed a little South in Estero and had never heard of Englewood Florida before this trip. Boat leaves from a great spot...the Captain's little piece of Nirvana...a cute home right on the water and just a stone's throw from fishing...

In our group of 6, we had 4 adults and 2 children ages 9 and 13. We all had such a good time with Captain Lewis. Everyone on the boat was able to catch fish and our group came home with 17 fish. Before and after booking the trip, the captain was quick to respond to any questions we had. We all agreed the day could not have been any better. We highly recommend Mac-Attack.

We were canceled on by a different company and I'm so glad we were because Tim took great care of us! Family of 4 out on the water and he kept our lines filled with bait and the excitement running. He worked very hard to keep us landing fish and we all got to see some pretty neat species! He then fileted what we were able to keep. We plan on scheduling a trip with him during Tarpon season!

Captain Paul provided myself and my two sons with an awesome offshore experience in which we catch a nice variety of fish. The highlight was landing a large Amber Jack being chased by a Goliath Grouper. Captain Paul was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great host. Highly recommend Hammertime Saltwater Adventures.

Captain Nick put us on the fish early and often in spite of tough conditions with a recent cold snap and 15+ mph winds. He was very informative in telling us what species we were targeting at each location and the best bait to use (he had both live wells full of bait). I've fished with other captains in Southwest Florida for over 12 years and Captain Nick is as good as I've ever seen. Will definitely use him again when I'm in the Englewood area.

I couldn't be more impressed with the way captain Shane took care of us on the trip today... He was extremely knowledgeable he took us to all the right spots we caught 40 plus fish and it was a day that I'll never forget. He also took the time to teach us about the wildlife and the conservation efforts which was cool.. I would definitely recommend captain Shane to family and friends.

My son and I booked with Capt Jon for this near shore trip. We had a great time fishing with Capt Jon. From the start the he had reached out to us prior to the trip with questions about what we were looking for. We got to the boat and everything was all set for the trip. Bait was ready for the fishing trip to start. We got out there and everything came together,lots of fish and sharks. We saw a sting ray jumping, a sea turtle which was a plus. I'd highly recommend this for anyone.

Had a great time with captain Tim. Kept the rods baited the whole time. Fished real hard for us to get as many as we could. Many different fish caught, wealth of knowledge, very patient. What a blast , my wife and two young girls and myself just had a great time. Thanks again captain Tim.

In our group of 6, we had 4 adults and 2 children ages 9 and 13. We all had such a good time with Captain Lewis. Everyone on the boat was able to catch fish and our group came home with 17 fish. Before and after booking the trip, the captain was quick to respond to any questions we had. We all agreed the day could not have been any better. We highly recommend Mac-Attack.

We were canceled on by a different company and I'm so glad we were because Tim took great care of us! Family of 4 out on the water and he kept our lines filled with bait and the excitement running. He worked very hard to keep us landing fish and we all got to see some pretty neat species! He then fileted what we were able to keep. We plan on scheduling a trip with him during Tarpon season!

The fishing experience was great with Captain Nick. He knew the spots to go to and we caught well over 30 fish. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job educating us on the local fish. Next time we are here I will definitely book Captain Nick!

Captain Paul provided myself and my two sons with an awesome offshore experience in which we catch a nice variety of fish. The highlight was landing a large Amber Jack being chased by a Goliath Grouper. Captain Paul was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great host. Highly recommend Hammertime Saltwater Adventures.

Captain Nick put us on the fish early and often in spite of tough conditions with a recent cold snap and 15+ mph winds. He was very informative in telling us what species we were targeting at each location and the best bait to use (he had both live wells full of bait). I've fished with other captains in Southwest Florida for over 12 years and Captain Nick is as good as I've ever seen. Will definitely use him again when I'm in the Englewood area.

I couldn't be more impressed with the way captain Shane took care of us on the trip today... He was extremely knowledgeable he took us to all the right spots we caught 40 plus fish and it was a day that I'll never forget. He also took the time to teach us about the wildlife and the conservation efforts which was cool.. I would definitely recommend captain Shane to family and friends.

My son and I booked with Capt Jon for this near shore trip. We had a great time fishing with Capt Jon. From the start the he had reached out to us prior to the trip with questions about what we were looking for. We got to the boat and everything was all set for the trip. Bait was ready for the fishing trip to start. We got out there and everything came together,lots of fish and sharks. We saw a sting ray jumping, a sea turtle which was a plus. I'd highly recommend this for anyone.

Capt Tim was accommodating and patient. We had some anglers that had never been on a boat and had no idea how to fish. Capt Tim was kind, patient and kept everyoneโs line baited and we all caught fish. Even caught a barracuda! Successful introduction to gulf waters.
