The bays near Garibaldi, most notably Tillamook Bay, offer up Halibut, Salmon, Lingcod, and some excellent crabbing action.
There’s also some impressive freshwater fishing to experience in Garibaldi. The Wilson River flows past this town and empties directly into Tillamook Bay, creating an impressive brackish water fishery. There’s the smaller Tillamook River to explore, too. The fall Chinook and winter Steelhead runs are the jewels of Garibaldi’s river fishing scene, but you’ll be able to find Cutthroat Trout and Sturgeon here, too.

Anglers fishing in Garibaldi will need to purchase a valid Oregon fishing license if they’re age 12 or above. If you’re going crabbing, you’ll require a Shellfish harvesting permit too.
