    The beginning of the year is a good time to hit the salt marshes around Pawleys Island in search of a variety of inshore game fish like Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Black Drum, so hit the water and fish on!

  • February

    Weather permitting, February has a lot to offer. Aside from healthy-sized Redfish that you can target on a fly, you can also go after Seabass, Black Drum, and Speckled Trout. Oystering is another popular pastime in these parts.

  • March

    With spring come more fishing opportunities than you can count. Flounder are starting to become more active in the shallow waters, as well as Sheepshead, and the Redfish bite is still very good.

  • April

    Flounder is one of the most popular catches around Pawleys Island and in April, both the weather and the bite are hot. If you want a change of pace, target Bull Redfish, Sheepshead, or nice big Speckled Trout.
