It's best to fish in Spring or Fall. And early morning or afternoon.
We fished in the middle of the summer, and the middle of the day. We would have caught more fish if we had followed the best fishing times above.

The boat and crew were great. The fishing was a bit slow. We managed to land 3 fish and had a few get away. All-in-all it was a good half day on the lake and my guests enjoyed the experience. I would use them again.

We had a great time with Captain Sean and the crew, Savana & Zander. We caught our limit of lake trout and had a ball doing it. Perfect weather, nice boat, free refreshments and snacks, excellent crew. We would definitely do this again.

Thank you for taking us out past Outer Island on a day when the waves were a bit aggressive. We caught the best fish of the day there. Great lunch and a very engaging couple. Hope to be back next year.

Great guide with a passion for fishing! Dave worked hard jiggering all the lines while we enjoyed the suspense of reeling in the big ones. 2 adults and two teens had their fill (and thrills!) of keeping 8 trout (splake, brown and lake) and throwing the monster 31” lake trout back (after photos of course) to preserve the trout populations in Lake Superior.
A guide with a heart. We cannot wait to fish with Dave again!

After booking, Sean and Savanna checked in with me multiple times on licensing, directions, details, etc. while leading up to the trip. On the boat Sean and Al were great, they never took a break for the full 8 hour off-shore trip we booked. We caught fish, they made lunch, we caught more fish and they took us on a complimentary sea caves viewing route and had all of the fish cleaned and packaged by the time we docked at the end of the day. Highly recommend this group!

Captain Dave was great, knowledgeable, friendly and we caught more fish then we expected. The sun was shining, we laughed and felt 100%.comfortable with Dave. He took the time to answer all our questions, explained Lake Superior, history and that morning charter with Dave was the highlight of our trip!!

My son and I joined Sean and Josh for the afternoon to celebrate my birthday. The trip was perfect- the gear was top notch and the boat was awesome. Sean and Josh were super friendly and helpful. We caught 4 monster trout and ate one for dinner that night. Highly recommend this charter and plan on coming back!!

Had a great day on the water. Limited out on lake trout, then moved for other species. Caught a few and my wife caught a very impressive brown trout that we are getting a replica to put on the wall. Our 11 yo granddaughter had a great time and asked can we go with cpt Dave again. Highly recommend .

Trip was great for two teen boys, husband and myself. We caught a lot of fish and learned a lot in the process. We used the captain's fish boil recipe the first night back home and had an amazing dinner from our catch!

A buddy and I recently went on a guided fishing trip with a guy named Dave. He was a super nice and genuine guy and he also knew his spots really well. I really recommend coming to fish with him if you want to go on a guided trip when you come up to Wisconsin!

Our fishing trip was fantastic. We caught our limit of lake trout and Dave cut them up for us to take home. We were amazed by his fishing skills, boat, and equipment. There were 4 of us which is how many Dave takes on his boat so it was a very personal experience. We had a great time and would definitely do it again and recommend him to others. Thank you Dave!
