Definitely book a guide if you are wanting to fish Crescent City. We fished from the jetty, the surf and booked a guide. We caught a couple fish from the shore but limited it out with 60 fish when we went out with our guide. With the price of fish these days, you almost pay for your trip in the amount of fish you bring home.

My son-in-law and I had a blast with Captain Steve and our Deck Hand Ky! They were amazing and made this charted fishing trip fun and memorable. We made some friends with our fellow fishermen, and we caught a boat load of Rock Fish! Literally we did! Everyone caught their limit.

This was the first time ocean fishing for my father in law and myself. We had a blast and made fun memories. We all caught the fish limit and Captain Steve and his crew were hands on in helping us with everything, including the fish cleaning. We will be back next year and the years to come. I am very thankful that we got to fish on the charter boat.

Steve was so friendly and his crew was amazing too! Me and my husband went on this trip for our honeymoon and it was one of my favorite experiences! He takes you out and knows exactly where to catch and not just fish. we hit our limit of rockfish In about 3 hours, (we did the 6 hour trip). Overall it was one of the best fishing trips we have been on and we are so glad we booked it! Thank you Steve for such a great experience and a good fishing day!!!

We enjoyed every minute with Steve and his helper. They were not only knowledgeable but great entertainment and very understanding of one of our guests not being up to par on the trip. We caught our limit of fish and will be back for sure!

We couldn’t have asked for a better Captain and crew. This was our first trip and it won’t be our last. A front moved in for the days we were going to fish. Steve called me with a report and explained what our options would be if we chose to come. Very professional! Once on the water he put us right on the fish. Both days we limited on a variety of rock fish. My 13 year old son had a great fishing experience thanks to Steve and Ki. If you want a great fishing trip this is the one.

Best fishing trip so far. Steve was great, funny dude! My 6 year old was on the ocean for the first time and Steve was great with him. Boat is comfortable and even worked great with my parents even though my mom has mobility issues. Steve definitely kept us on the fish and we came home with a massive amount of filets..... Definitely booking with Steve Huber in the future.

Captain Steve had us on fish so fast and it was non stop action the entire time. It was my daughters first time on a charter fishing boat. Captain gave us some great advice with motion sickness. Her first experience was one for the books and she will always remember it. (Lily is 9) and is ready to book our next outing with Steve right away. We had an amazing morning with Captain Steve….and we caught our max quota of fish in just a few hours! (He knows where all the fishies are) We caught several species of fish including a China Rock Fish and a Canary Rock Fish and Lingcod. We will definitely be back for another fishing trip with Captain Steve in November! Oh and my hubby loves Captain Steve’s boat to boot! See ya again in November Captain Steve!
