My wife and I arrived at the dock to meet Steve at 6am sharp. Steve had the boat and equipment ready to roll! After waiting for some fellow passengers, we set out for the spot, about a 20 minute ride. Steve had us on the Rockfish within minutes of dropping our lines, and each time the fish would move, Steve had his eye on the sonar chasing them down. We hit our limit of Rockfish and proceed to target Ling Cod. The bite wasn’t on in any large numbers, but we landed three in the boat. Steve is knowledgeable about where and how to fish the area, and there’s no doubt he’s the best charter captain in Crescent City. Steve also was very friendly and took time to teach the fishing techniques needed to land a good fish. Steve filleted all the fish we caught and sent us all home with at least two bags of fish per person!

I had a great time getting to fishing and talking with the captain who was very knowledgeable in the coastal fishing and inlet fishing, fishing was tough due to higher waters, but captain definitely knew what he was doing! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

We brought our 4 boys on this fishing trip and our Captain Steve was amazing. He was patient and an instant hit with our kids. We caught our limit and had an amazing time doing it. We feel like we got the best in the area who answered all our questions.
