Fishing was great catching yellow tail was getting ready to hit the mangrove snapper and the ladies were sick , so had to head back in CPT Sam was great thought trip got short we had a great time and will be coming again without the ladies lol , thank you CPT Sam

If you're looking for deep sea fishing, this aint it. I mistakenly booked this charter. However, I love to fish, so gave it a try. It turned out to be a great trip. We had fun, the boat was clean, the guide (Sam) worked his butt off, and we caught a bucket of eaters. Firing up the grill right now. We were not disappointed!

Definitely decide between offshore and near shore because the shallow water around the keys is definitely different than my other fishing experiences around the gulf. April has had some cold snaps so the sailfish and permit were not here yet. That was a little disappointing but nothing the captain can control.

We had Never been salt water fishing. Captain led us through from start to finish, helping us with the different species and out is right in fish all evening. Expect heavier surf going to the reef, and a fight if going after Tarpon.

At first we booked this trip without targeting something specific so we could maybe catch a little bit of everything, but our captain suggested us tarpon because we wanted something with action and it was a good time to target them. It didn’t disappoint! Amazing experience like nothing else!

Book a full day trip. Give the captain ample time to take you to mutuple spots and show you various fishing techniques for the various species available in this area. You won't be disappointed. Lastly be sure to have one of the local restaurants cook part of your catch. There is nothing better than freshly caught fish and these restaurants do a wonderful job preparing it.

It can get really windy and a bit chilly this time of year. If the forecast is windy and under 70 degrees,
highly recommend dressing in layers and prepare for a bit of a rougher ride on the water.

A cold front came in and made it windy and a bit choppy for 2/3 days but our captain still put us on a lot of fish and we had a great time. Just remember that the 70’s may sound warm, but it’ll feel chilly on the boat; pack your clothes accordingly.

Great experience for shallow water light tackle fishing. Quality and quantity of fish. Was a little cold and windy for this time of year but not unbearable. Definitely recommend this trip for your first visit to Key West.

Had a late afternoon/evening trip with Capt Zac in early August. Not best time of season, but got into fish right away. Great trip, good gear, Capt Zac knows his stuff. Finished with Tarpon and had a blast with my 16 year old son!

Capt. Zach was unreel. Very knowledgeable, experienced, laid back, not intimidating, outgoing Captain. Caught limit mangrove snapper, caught a huge Mahi Mahi (26lbs) and some small ones, caught many barracudas, and finished with a huge lemon shark. Ready to book for next year. Book a full day for the best experience.

We caught (2h 100 lbs. plus tarpon in the morning, then onto catching our limit for barracuda and then finally catching red snapper for dinner!

Cap Zac was spectacular.
He knew his backyard perfectly!
We caught 2 sharks, 2 cudas, a tarpon in the am.
On our 2nd round in the evening, we caught our boat limit of mangrove snapper in ~40min, then a few yellow tail for later, big hits in deeper h2os, then x2 more tarpons.
What a fantastic day my son had.
Thanks Cap Zac for a memorable time.

Justin was great! We managed to catch a few tarpon, including one near 100lbs. We fought it for nearly 45 minutes! A lemon and nurse shark was also caught! Justin is very passionate about what he does and anybody would enjoy this trip!

His passion for the sport and positive energy is a game changer- We caught Tarpon and Permit, and he worked hard to put us on bonefish for a grand slam but us two old guys wanted to go drink rum after an incredible trip and adventure--in addition to his expertise the boat and equipment is top notch--the Marquesas are really a special place--highly recommend

Went out on evening fishing trip with Captain Justin 7/12/25. We caught a shark, some Mangrove Snapper, and a Tarpon. He absolutely knows where to go. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Would absolutely reccomend if you want to catch fish in Key West.

Our Captain was awesome! Very professional and patient. Worked really hard to put us on fish. We fish a lot so we understand catching isn’t always a guarantee, but he didn’t stop working until he got us on some really nice fish! Would highly recommend for anybody!
