Fishing off the shore has been excellent this time of year. Lots of fish seem to be in-season so definitely try rocky/structural areas with steep drops. Haven’t had luck with jigs or lures but frozen squid is always a sure bet

Captain Mark was great! My son wanted to catch a fish on our trip to Hawaii and although the Mana Team couldn't guarantee a catch, they absolutely delivered! We caught a 30lbs Yellow Fin Tuna. We also went to a great spot to snorkel and see Sea Turtles. Would absolutely recommend and do it again. Thanks to the whole team Venture Boat team.

Booked with Venture and our captain was Jesse. He was so chill and just a rad person. We chatted the whole time about fish, travel, food, hunting and tons of other things. The first half of trolling was a goose egg, but bottom fishing was awesome. We were catching fish on the first drop. He was as excited to see what fish we caught as we were, plus he provided info on each fish as he was unhooking them.
What a great experience from start to finish. Thanks Jesse for a great trip!

Took my two boys out for their first reef fishing experience. Couldn't be happier. Captain Mark was great, knowledgeable and made the trip engaging and interactive for the kids! After catching the 6th fish... we stopped counting...Onaga, ta` apa, needlefish...would highly recommend!

First time on the ocean, could not have asked for a better captain. We all caught fish!🤩 Captain Mark talked to us about what we wanted during our trip and helped with all aspects. He also talked to us about the island and what we were seeing. Such an amazing adventure. If I ever make it back to Hawaii I will book with him.

We went fishing with Captain Jesse. He was awesome. This trip was for our son’s 9th birthday and Captain Jesse really delivered a great time. We caught plenty of fish and just had a great time. Highly recommend this charter for families of all ages.

No luck with the big fish but the little bites kept us busy. A fun and beautiful day on the open water with family is priceless . The communication up to excursion was informative and helpful. The boat and equipment were fantastic. JJ and Marco were the very best. Mahalo and Aloha

We had a great time! The fish weren’t biting too much on the day, but we started out with about an hour of trolling. After a bit of trolling, we went to a couple of different spots and tried out some bottom-fishing and ended up catching a couple of interesting fish. Garrett was excellent, and super friendly and fun to spend time with.
I absolutely recommend this trip to those who want some cool views and want to have fun!

Mark was a great Captain. We didn’t catch any big fish but did some small ones. If it was easy they would call it catching not fishing. I would book with him again if coming back to Oahu later.

We had a 3hr sunrise fishing outing with Capt Mark. Mark was the perfect host/capt for our family of 5, with 3 20 somethings. I wouldn't say that trolling for Marlin is an active outing because the trolling is inactive for those of us wanting to fish but if you happen to snag a marlin then it's extremely active. We had a combination of trolling and then bottom fishing. We saw many, many whales in the area. I highly recommend this outing. It was our family's favorite outing of the week.
