We took our 8 year old and 5 year old fishing with Captain Brannen and it was such a lovely adventure. He was great with the kids, very knowledgeable. We all had a wonderful time.

My husband and I took our 3 sons fishing with captain Turk. He was very knowledgeable and extremely patient with my 3 boys. My boys told us it was the highlight of their trip.

What a great introduction to salmon fishing on the island! We were impressed at how quickly we found the fish and kept on catching! In 4 hours we caught over 20 salmon. Captain Mike and son Cody are a great team - very attentive and knowledgeable and lots of laughs! Would highly recommend this trip to anyone!

Did a half day trip with Brennan on our honeymoon. One of the highlights of our trip for sure. Caught a bunch of fish and crabs even though it was later in the day.

Charter boat is conveniently located right next to the Departure Bay ferry terminal with ample parking. Captain Turk has excellent knowledge of the area and where the salmon are. Although we caught 12 salmon they were either too small, too big or wild chinook which had to be put back. Captain Turk is a great story teller and we still enjoyed our time. Overall we had a great experience with Reel Time charters and would recommend them.

10/10 would recommend this trip to anyone. We set crab and shrimp pots in the morning and we were into fish almost immediately. The captain and his crew tailored our trip exactly to our specifications and we had a great day on the water. We reeled in some 25 ish fish between salmon and cod- our arms were sore by the end of the day!

My sister and I enjoyed our half day trip with Captain Mike and crew member Pat. Both worked hard to put us on the 8 salmon that we caught. Enjoyed the delicious crabs and prawns we trapped that day too.

Great day with Captain Andrew. We caught chinook, coho, and pink salmon on a four-hour tour. He really knew where to find them, and we noticed lots of other boats circling us once we started hitting, trying to cheat off our captain's local knowledge. And he has some great stories to tell.

Great trip with Turk out of Nanaimo, with my mother and nephew in tow - neither of whom have very much experience fishing for salmon in tidal waters. Captain was very patient with their learning curve, and guided us to a limit of Chinook including 3 over 70cm. A couple of Coho as bonuses as well. Exceeded my expectations for the catch on such a short outing!

Absolutely amazing experience for my father, my daughter (age 11), and myself. Captain Mike and his son were really nice and very knowledgeable. We had a great time, and would love to head back out again.

I got this experience as a gift for my husband and father-in-law and they had nothing but good things to say. Despite heavy rainfall, Captain Andrew worked hard all afternoon to ensure they had a great time. Lots of salmon caught and were able to take home a nice big Chinook. I know it will be a great forever memory for them.

Captain Turk took me out with my 14-year-old triplets. There is never a guarantee of fish, but we started catching salmon the moment the lines were in the water. Everyone got a chance to land a salmon and we even got a few to take home for dinner. Captain Turk is great. Even if we hadn't caught a thing, it would have been a nice morning on the water with Captain Turk. I highly recommend this charter!

We packed a lot in our half day tour. We caught lots of salmon (we kept a coho for dinner) and had time left over for a little sightseeing. Very informative, and the seal colony was cool. Thanks Captain Andrew!

Had a great time! Just as advertised we put crab and shrimp pots down and trolled for salmon for a couple of hours and had 18 fish on the lines. Brought in ten and because of the season, were able to keep some farmed coho. An awesome real fishing experience. Thanks Captain Mike!
