Unfortunately, the fish cleaning station and the bathrooms were all closed by the time we docked at Mac Daddy's and we were really counting on being able to use both. So, note to self for next time, be sure to get back to the dock at Mac Daddy's before they close everything up!

DUE TO EXTREME HEAT, I ASKED CAPTAIN TO START TRIP LATER THAN NORMAL. HE REPLIED QUICKLY WITH A YES.
WAS A WONDERFUL EVENING AND A BEAUTIFUL SUNSET.
FISHING WAS SLOW STARTING OUT. IT GOT BETTER AS THE EVENING WENT ON.
WE CAUGHT ABOUT A DOZEN CATFISH, THE DESIRED SPECIES. SEVERAL WERE SMALL BUT MOST BETWEEEN 6 TO 10 POUNDS. ALSO GOT A BONUS WITH ONE TOPPING 20 POUNDS. NEARLY FILLED 2 62 QUART COOLERS.

Everything about our experience was stellar. Captain Brad was great. We felt right at home on the boat as soon as we stepped on board.
Captain Brad is very knowledgeable and absolutely knows how the catfish think. We absolutely cleaned house all day, and ended up going home with over 32lbs of fresh catfish. I will be returning, and could not have asked for a better experience.

Made this trip with my 2 sons, been awhile since we had been able to do something like this together. Stevie is very good, knows the lake and where to find the fish. Fishing was slow at first, but he stayed with it to make our trip worthwhile. I had never fished for cat fish the way he does. We all enjoyed the trip very much. Captain Brad is very laid back, his boat is nothing fancy, but he is equipped with top notch rods, best bait, and knowledge. We caught a nice slew of catfish in the 2 - 3 pound range, a 5 pounder, a 10 pounder, and then the icing on the cakeโฆ drum roll pleaseโฆ a 31 pound catfish! Great day of fishing, and you just cannot beat fried catfish for supper!

Captain Brad is very laid back, his boat is nothing fancy, but he is equipped with top notch rods, best bait, and knowledge. We caught a nice slew of catfish in the 2 - 3 pound range, a 5 pounder, a 10 pounder, and then the icing on the cakeโฆ drum roll pleaseโฆ a 31 pound catfish! Great day of fishing, and you just cannot beat fried catfish for supper!
