Water temp is a very warm 90⁰ plus, so certain types of fish are not running and/or biting. Sarasota is still beautiful this time of year, so I would still recommend it.

I took my three grandsons on a four hour fishing trip this morning with Captain Scott. He put us on the fish and we loaded up the cooler limiting out on speckled trout and other species. The boys are thoroughly enjoyed the day as they were catching other catch and release fish all morning. It was a great day catching

Spent a great morning with capt. Nate at Fly Fishing Sarasota. I felt like I was constantly reeling something in. It was a ton of fun catching a variety species including trout, mackerel, jack and ladyfish and you never knew what you would reel in next. He's a very nice guy and made the experience very fun. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Took my son out for a half-day trip and we both had an unforgettable time. Captain Nate was patient, friendly, and really great with kids. We caught a variety of fish and learned a ton along the way. Took us all around the harbour, we fished many spots and caught plenty of trout and a few other species. He was very helpful with my girlfriend who isn't the best at fishing - she ended up catching more than me! He filleted our catches and recommended a great spot that'll cook them right up for you - highly recommend for a great day on the water

Brought my father in law and two older kids (12 and 9) for a 4 hour inshore charter, our first time doing this activity in Sarasota. Caught about 40 fish of 7 species including 2 sharks. Captain Scott was prepared, great with the kids and moved around the bay until we found schools of fish to catch. We come to Sarasota every summer and will be doing this again, my kids loved it and requested another trip with Captain Scott. Awesome day all around.

My grandson had never fly fished before and caught multiple impressive which was amazing for his first time ever! Now he wants to start fly fishing back home. Captain Nate provided a great experience and is a great instructor for beginners.
