But bring some extra storage bags if you want to split up the fish once they are done...bring a cooler to bring home fish in...our Captain had ice for us to put in our cooler, but we brought packs just in case they didn't. Don't forget your fishing license. Plan ahead on knowing what the weather would be like. We knew there would be rain, but our Captain was on top of the pattern and we stayed clear of it. Be ready to have fun.

The Walleye fishing is amazing in July. There was a Walleye tournament going on while we were fishing but plenty of room for everyone

Be ready to go after what is biting. Early July can be great for Walleye and Smallmouth, but also for Salmon and Trout. Our guide knew the Salmon and Trout were doing better. The Walleye numbers had not moved in from the west yet. We listened to his report and decided to go for the Salmon and Trout. Glad we did.

Keep in contact with your captain. April showers can screw up a fishery so be flexible on your date plan a three day stay if you can with your trip in the middle that way you can adjust a day before or a day after if your Captain see fit

I recommend fishing for chinook(king) salmon at this time of year at about 70 to 90 feet. Because of their size they are a challenge to land, but worth every minute of the fight. Great eating after they are cleaned and fileted. Bring a camera and take alot of pictures.

Captin David was on it! The water conditions weren't the best however Captin David didn't let that stop him. He was actively working his best to get us fish! We caught a beautiful Salmon! I highly recommend this charter. We had a great time!

My son and I wanted to do some winter fishing, so we booked a trip to Niagara river with Angler’s Edge. Our initial trip was postponed due to weather. Joseph was informative and accommodating. When the trip happened about a week later, we had good (for December) conditions and Joseph taught us the tricks of river fishing. We caught steelhead and brown trout, and we did a couple different fishing methods. 10/10, would recommend Joseph for your Niagara fishing trip!

Captain Jim was great. I had 3, 10 year old boys on the trip. We spent a lot of time untangling setups and breaking off on snags. Jim was extremely patient with the kids( more than me. lol). The kids had a blast and caught the biggest fish of their lives.

My brothers and I went on the lower Niagra river today with Captain Mike. Despite the wind and cold, he still put us on the fish and was very personable and patient with us while targeting certain species. I would definitely recommend a trip with Mike.

Our trip was great! We aren’t the most experienced when it comes to fishing. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and taught us multiple techniques and helped ensure we were all able to catch fish. If we weren’t having luck he knew exactly where to move to and what technique to switch to. He was friendly, personable, patient and encouraging throughout the entire trip. He even took photos of us with each fish we caught and sent them to us following the trip. We would highly recommend him as a guide.

My husband and I did a half day charter with Mike at River Born Fishing Company on the Niagara River and it was overall an awesome experience. Mike was super informative and gave us a variety of options for fish species as well as opportunities to use different fishing methods. We each caught walleye and lake trout, and were able to take the walleye home - which he filleted and bagged for us! 10/10 would recommend!

We all had a great experience on this trip. Capt Mike is knowledgeable and very personable. We never felt like intruders on his boat nor uncomfortable asking a question. He was extremely helpful with the equipment and tips for casting leaders which isn’t easy. We will definitely be chartering with Captain Mike and in the future, hopefully soon.

Everything was good except the one thing the Captain couldn't control. The water was on the rough side. It made landing the fish difficult, but we still got them in. It was a very good trip.

Where do I start? From the time we arrived Captain David was on time and ready to roll. It was a nice peaceful trip, as the waves and wind continuously changed. My Cousin got sea sick. But the fish continued to roll in. Captain David chosed a great spot and we landed a great

Captain Greg, knows his fishing and where to find them! We were on fish all day. Capt. Greg, would set us on top of the search and small mouth without an issue. His fishing gear was set and ready for both species and no waiting for gear changes or resets. If you listen to the man you will get fish 🐟 and lots of the them. I have not had a guide this great for many many years.
