    (8 Hour Trip – Offshore)

    Awesome Trip!!!

Out trip was amazing!!! The seas started a little rough due to the weather but it cleared up a couple hours later. But that didn’t stop the Captain from putting us on the fish for the entire trip. Everything from the captain and the boat is 5 stars!!! I will definitely be booking again soon

Gulf Grouper are powerful bottom-dwelling sport fish known for hard hits and short, brutal runs. Anglers target them for tough fights and delicious, firm white fillets. These fish hold tight to reefs, wrecks, ledges, and rocky structure, which makes every hookup a challenge.

Most trips focus on reef fishing or wreck fishing with bottom fishing tactics. Crews drop live bait or cut bait on stout tackle with circle hooks to keep fish pinned. Heavy jigs also work well; jigging means lifting and dropping a metal lure to trigger reaction strikes.

Expect patient drops, sudden thumps, and a strong surge for the bottom. This fishing suits beginners and seasoned anglers who enjoy steady action and teamwork. Bring sun protection, a hat, polarized sunglasses, and non-slip shoes; ask your captain about drinks, snacks, and a cooler for any fillets.

Regulations for Grouper vary by area and can change during the year. Always check your local fishing license and permit needs, as well as current seasons, size rules, and harvest limits before your trip.
