You’ll be fishing aboard his reliable and spacious drift boat manufactured by Willie Boats, Inc. It can accommodate up to 4 anglers and comes equipped with the best safety gear. You’ll also find an ice-box on board to keep your catch fresh and chilly.

All our trips take place in a 20’ Willie Drift Boat outfitted with top-of-the-line equipment and gear to ensure a safe and comfortable day on the river! While fishing for King or Silver Salmon, most fishing will be done inside the boat, whereas when fishing for Sockeye Salmon, most of that fishing will be done from the bank.

The Kasilof is a drift-only river which means no motors, which provides a relaxing day of fishing without the sounds of motors running. Capt. Alex Chulick has two 20’ Willie drift boats that can accommodate up to four people comfortably and five during the sockeye season.

Your guide is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You’ll be using techniques like fly fishing and spinning, depending on what you’re going after. As part of their 4 to 8-hour trips, you can target species like Salmon, Arctic Char, Dolly Varden, and Rainbow Trout, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
