Discover Alaskan Adventures welcomes you for a lovely river fishing trip out of Kasilof Alaska. After you meet your Guide at the launch location near kasilof, you'll enjoy a scenic float on the quiet and beautiful Kasilof River. Our company will make sure you have an enjoyable and successful trip, so join us aboard and create many lovely moments on the water.
You'll be fishing from Willie Boats drift boat that can seat up to 5 guests per boat.
The species you can target include Sockeye, Chinook, and Coho Salmon, depending on what's available at certain times throughout the season, all of them tasty and elusive. To attract them, you'll use light and heavy tackle to bottom fish, troll, spin, and drift fish. You get to keep all the fish you catch. Feel free to bring kids aboard and enjoy a wonderful family stay on the water or a nearby gravel bar during sockeye season.
Our company will provide all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, and will also clean and fillet your catch at no extra cost. You just bring your licenses and some food and drinks to stay refreshed.

Full Day Trip – Kasilof Salmon on July 11, 2026 • 8 adults • 2 childrenWe know fishing this early in July was a bit of a gamble. Chris was amazing from the start and said they would do what they could to get us on some Salmon. We got a check in text the day before and they recommended we switch our start time from 6am to 3am to increase our odds. Ron and Zach had the spot dialed in and we started out slow but ended up maxing out at 48 Salmon!!! These two guys are so experienced and super patient. This trip is now our number #1 favorite for the morning view, fish caught and best charter to date. Thank you Ron and Zach!

The guide was knowledgeable, patient, and worked hard to put us on fish while making sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time. The equipment was well maintained, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We caught plenty of salmon, learned and made memories we'll never forget. I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun, well-organized, and memorable fishing adventure in Alaska. We would definitely book again!

Our guide, Zach, was an expert on teaching us technique and getting us on fish quickly. with four of us fishing, we landed 17 and a bunch got away. super fun, Zach was an expert navigator, moving to different spots to get best chances for salmon. definitely recommended!! Bald eagles throughout the trip too🦅

Full Day Trip – Kasilof Salmon on June 6, 2025 • 8 adultsAfter several hours of trying all the right spots without success, we landed six sock eye salmon in an hour and a half. Our guides, Nolan and Michael, made it a fun relaxing and engaging day. They worked hard for us to have a successful fishing day. Although we hoped for King Salmon the current restrictions on fishing made it difficult. We did land one and caught another but both were native so they were catch and release only. We would book with them again

It was our grandson’s first time at 18 yrs old visiting from WI. And our granddaughter’s first time fishing for Salmon too!! She’s 5 years old! Our guide Jess was Amazing! He was so helpful! He took us to some great spots and we caught a lot of Salmon!! He was super at getting over fast to net them for us!! We highly recommend them! So much fun! We even saw a mama Moose and her 2 babies!

It was our first time on a drift boat and Michael made a great experience. The sockeye salmon were there and he worked extremely hard to put us on them and keep us on them but the bite just wasn't there that day. It was awesome scenery and fun watching the fish jump all around us though. Would highly recommend Michael and this trip, especially when the run is further along. He knows what he is doing, is extremely hard working, and personable. Would definitely book with him again.
