Hard Working Outfitter
Thus crew worked hard to get us a shark for the kids to reel in. It started out with a tough bite then picked up. Since they knew the bite started the crew stayed late to get us a shark. We got a 5 foot black tip but also watched another crew reel in an 11 foot tiger shark. Super cool to see all these sharks including catching one ourselves. While waiting they made it fun buy catching crabs by hand. We also saw some newborn sea turtles hatching and making their way to the sea! Great crew!
- 5.0/5(6 Hour Trip (PM))

The trip was awesome, many of the ones on the trip had never been off shore. The hands were so helpful and patient with everybody. We caught fish and everybody had a great time.

WE CAUGHT 3 SHARKS!
We had an excellent experience with Master Sportfishing Charters! Captain and Crew were friendly, knowledgeable and had one objective - help us catch something big! We weren’t on the water for an hour before we had our first shark. We caught 3 in total! Such a cool experience!
- 5.0/5(5hr Shark Fishing Pursuit)
Good Times!!!
We did the 5 hour shark fish and had the best time!! We caught a small Atlantic Sharpfish and a Tiger Shark. Definitely book with Ricardo if you want a chance to catch a shark. He is very knowledgeable and wants to teach others about sharks. We made memories of a lifetime. Cant wait to book with him again!
About Tiger Shark fishing
Tiger Shark fishing is all about power, endurance, and respect for one of the ocean’s top Sharks. Anglers target Tiger Shark for its size, hard fights, and the chance to test their skills. Many trips focus on catch and release to help protect this important sport fish.
Most crews target Tiger Shark with offshore or deep sea fishing in warm waters. Common tactics include drift fishing and bottom fishing over structure, while chumming spreads a scent trail to draw Sharks in. Heavy conventional tackle is standard. Wire leaders help prevent bite‑offs, and circle hooks are used to set in the corner of the mouth for safer releases.
Expect long, steady battles with powerful runs and deep pulls. Fights can last a while, so patience and teamwork matter. This is a great challenge for seasoned anglers and confident first‑timers with a captain’s guidance. Wear sun protection and sturdy shoes, and bring a hat, polarized sunglasses, snacks, and any motion sickness meds you prefer. Crews provide the gear and handle safe Shark handling and release when required.
Rules for Tiger Shark fishing vary by location and can change often. Before your trip, check local fishing license and permit rules. Review season dates, open areas, and harvest or release requirements. If harvest is allowed, size and bag limits may apply. Your captain can explain the latest regulations and best practices for a responsible trip.
