Malta Bluefin Tuna Fishing Charters

This cruise is ideal for beginners. You and the crew will stay close to the shore between 40 to 60 metres deep and use hand manual reels for catching bottom fish. You will use prawns as bait. Your trip will start at 8:00 a.m and last for 5 hours.

This trip is solely focused on Catching Tuna and Bonito in maltese offshore waters. During the open season. We run out to productive areas where tuna are feeding and work them properly using trolling and, when conditions allow, casting techniques. Bluefin are powerful, fast, and unpredictable (not to me though ;-). This is serious fishing that requires coordination, teamwork, and motivation.

In less than 30min sailing, we start fishing for the target species in season and as agreed with the guests prior to the charter trip. We will use the most effective methods to maximise our bite rates. We may record the action on media so that you may have memories of your experience. The skipper will provide high end tackle and will do his best to make the charter safe and enjoyable.
