    Great bucks trip

We had Steve as the captain and Michael first hand. Very knowledgeable and made the trip good fun. Caught a lot of fish. Would strongly recommend.

    Great crew, Great catch!

We had an amazing time fishing with Reel Blessed! We caught so many fish, including a manta ray, which was such a cool experience! Captain Richard and his mate Houston were incredible, friendly, knowledgeable, and took great care of us the entire trip. Highly recommend this charter, and we would definitely go again! 🎣⭐️

    Todd was awesome

First time out on a charter like this for my 4 kids. They all caught fish and we caught a couple of stingrays. We all had a great time and Todd was so patient and mindful of the kids having a good time. Would 100% recommend.

(4 Hour Trip (AM) – Private Fishing)

    Best captain we’ve ever had!

We caught several fish ranging from croaker, seabass, king fish, toad fish, squid, blue crabs, spot, and even a dusky shark! Captain Tim knew that ocean like the back of his hand. He knew all the spots to catched different species. We already cant wait to come back!

Southern Kingfish fishing is all about easy action and tasty rewards. Also known as Whiting, this inshore Groundfish prowls sandy beaches, surf zones, and calm bays. Anglers love it for steady bites, simple tactics, and delicious fillets. It is a great first saltwater catch and a favorite for family trips.

You can target Southern Kingfish from the beach, piers, or small boats. Light spinning tackle works best. Use bottom fishing with small hooks and just enough weight to hold bottom. A basic dropper rig is a simple setup with short leaders and a sinker. Fresh baits like sand fleas, shrimp, clams, or squid are top choices. Cast beyond the breaking waves, let the bait sit, and keep contact with the sinker. Gentle taps often mean it’s time to lift and reel.

Expect quick, fun bites rather than long battles. This is relaxed, hands-on fishing that suits beginners, kids, and anyone who enjoys the surf. Dawn, dusk, and moving tides often help the bite. Wear sun protection and polarized sunglasses to read the water. Bring a light rod, spare sinkers, small hooks, long-nose pliers, and a cooler with ice for your catch. Keep your bait fresh and your casts frequent to stay on fish.

Before you go, check local rules for licenses or permits. Regulations can change by area, and there may be specific seasons, gear rules, or harvest limits. If you plan to keep fish, know how to measure them and handle your catch responsibly. When in doubt, ask local authorities or your captain for guidance.
