    (Half Day Trip Fishing)

    Super fun!

Went on the trip during our vacation and was looking for something fun to do besides sitting on the beach, we found this boat on the app; and we were excited. They provided drinks, cute little charcuterie bored, help teaching the correct way how to do the different types of fishing they offered. All in all we (all of us caught 13 fish) even a little tuna! The crew was amazing, friendly and caring! On the top 3 fishing experiences we have ever done.

    Fun day fishing

We had a very nice day fishing — catching multiple good-sized yellowfin tuna and Mahi Mahi. The captain and crew were great - always helpful and focused on safety. They focused throughout the trip on ensuring that we had a great day. I would very highly recommend Captain Don.

    All-Time Favorite

We book fishing charters wherever we travel and this trip was our best yet. Amazing crew, easy pick up at our resort, great catches and an amazing swim, snorkle and lunch on the shores of Klein Curacao. Ack and Wesley were incredible, experienced and hardworking. We’d recommend this trip to anyone.

Albacore Tuna fishing is all about speed, stamina, and steady action. Also called Longfin Tuna, this game fish is famous for hard hits, fast runs, and tasty white meat. Anglers target it for the challenge on light tackle and the chance of multiple hookups when schools pass by.

Most crews target Albacore with trolling, which means pulling lures or baits behind the boat. Feathered jigs, cedar plugs, and small spoons work well, as do live baits like anchovies, sardines, or squid. Fluorocarbon leaders help, since Tuna have sharp eyesight. When fish come to the surface, casting and jigging can keep the bite going.

Expect offshore, bluewater fishing with quick bursts of action and powerful first runs. The fight is energetic but manageable for beginners with guidance. Bring non-slip shoes, sun protection, and layers for changing weather. Pack snacks and water, and ask your captain what tackle is provided and if you should bring a cooler for fillets. Motion sickness tablets are a good idea for long runs.

Before your trip, check local rules for licenses, permits, seasons, and harvest limits. Regulations can change by region and time of year. Ask your captain about current rules, handling, and best practices. When in doubt, follow catch-and-release guidelines and only keep what you can use.
