Jig bite is on ?!!! Will be great the rest of winter ….

Hot weather is here and so is the bite!! Today live bait was just not what they wanted but we are always prepared for other techniques and plastic jigs was the ticket today. 84 degrees and beautiful in southern illinois

On a sunny day with wind kicking it wasn’t the prime or idea conditions for late winter Crappie but today’s modern electronics changed the playing field . We followed schools and fished single pole vertical and caught a real nice mess of fish.
