Kluane Lake is one of Canada’s largest glacial lakes; remote, glacier-fed, and lightly fished. Talbot Arm is a private, boat-access-only section with no roads, no crowds, and virtually no fishing pressure. Target Lake Trout, Arctic Grayling, Northern Pike, Whitefish, and Burbot. Crystal-clear water allows sight-fishing the shallows, dry fly action for Grayling, aggressive Pike strikes, and deep-water battles with large Lake Trout. lodge Fishing in Canada

A fishing lodge combines accommodation, guiding, and fishing into a single all-inclusive escape, built for anglers who want to fish hard for days at a time. Most lodges occupy remote, fish-rich settings reached only by boat or float plane, ranging from rustic riverside cabins to full-service luxury retreats. The reward is access to water that day trips simply cannot reach. Alaskan lodges put anglers on all five Pacific Salmon alongside Halibut and Lingcod, Amazon jungle lodges deliver world-class Peacock Bass and prehistoric Arapaima, and Canadian operations hold trophy Walleye, Northern Pike, and Lake Trout. In Argentina, hard-fighting Golden Dorado and wild Trout headline the rivers of Patagonia.

A typical multi-day package covers lodging, home-cooked meals, daily guided fishing, and the boats and tackle matched to each fishery, with catch cleaning, filleting, and freezing so anglers can take their haul home. With logistics handled and expert guides on hand, days are spent entirely on the water and evenings swapping stories over dinner. Packages vary by lodge, so anglers should confirm what each stay includes – flights, transfers, licenses, and gratuities are common extras. As always, check local license, permit, and season rules for the destination before travelling.

Bluefin Tuna fishing continues up north, while Steelhead fishing in rivers all over Canada gets underway. Crabbing in British Columbia is excellent at this time of year.

    Best bang for the buck

Booked a charter out on Lake Ontario for kings and lakers. Captain Chris delivered, got both species and a bonus coho within the first few hours. Chris knows exactly what the fish are biting that day and is constantly on his feet changing lures and depths. This charter is worth every last penny. 10/10 would recommend

    Captain Kyle Knows His Stuff

An amazing morning on the water. Capt. Kyle took us out this morning on a Walleye fishing trip, loaded the rods, kept us entertained with both stories and landing fish. Great boat, brand new equipment or very well maintained. As promised we limited out within two hours of departure. I’d recommend Captain Kyle for a walleye experience you won’t soon forget.

A morning fish with southern limits

I would like to thank Captain Kyle for the great fishing morning. Captain Kyle is very knowledgeable in fishing lake Erie and lake ontario. We ended up catching Walleyes, Rainbow trout and lake trout. I would definitely book another fishing charter with southern limits. Jim
