Welcome to the town of Steinhatchee and discover the fishing potential of their local flats and general area. When you swing by be sure to check with the Salt Obsession Fishing Company and they will hook you up with a fishing trip. You’ll be under the guidance of Captain Isaac Leon and he’ll show you around and point you to the best fishing spots.

You’ll be cruising the local waters on board a Pathfinder bay boat. This boat easily navigates shallow flats as well as the nearshore hot spots. The boat is fitted with a Yamaha engine that is quick and reliable. You’ll be going from one fishing spot to another in no time. The boat is outfitted with simrads, power poles and an ipilot trolling motor.

This charter covers flats locations along with the inshore and nearshore area. The fish bites all year round, and you can encounter Cobia, Redfish, and the delicious Flounder. From July till the end of September you can even go scalloping. When it comes to fishing techniques, you can test your skills in light tackle, bottom fishing, and spinning.

Families will be glad to know children are welcome. Your trip includes the necessary fishing equipment, lures, and bait. What’s more, the charter covers your Florida fishing license. For your greater experience, the crew offers refreshments, and snorkeling equipment is available. If you manage to catch some fish you can keep it and the crew will help you out with cleaning and bagging.

4 Hour –Scallop Trip AM-Max 5ppl

This is a 6-hour trip that includes inshore or nearshore fishing for 2 anglers, 4 anglers maximum. This length is perfect to enjoy your fishing day. Ice, tackle, and license will be provided. Lunch and snacks are up to you. Please bring a cooler if you plan on taking home some dinner. Sun protection (long sleeves, pants, hats, non spray sunscreen) and polarized sunglasses are recommended.

6 Hour Trip

Spend the morning fishing then get to cool off and scallop in the afternoon! This trip is a great way to experience all that Steinhatchee, FL has to offer. Bait, tackle and licenses are provided as well as masks and snorkles. The mask and snorkles are one size fits most so its reccommended to bring your own if possibke as well as fins. Please bring a cooler in vehical to take fillets and scallops home after trip.
