Reel Alaska Fishing Charters is proud to be providing the top of the line brand new 33' North River sport fishing boats, and most importantly experienced captains who work hard to get you hooked up to make a trip of a lifetime for you and yours. They literally go the extra miles for our clients and provide dockside pickup in the vessel to maximize your time onboard. 

Owned and operated by Captain Scott W. Edgar established in 2019 to be the premier charter service for all of South East Alaska. His fleet of elite captains have several years of experience & love to share their tips and tricks with you as well as exchange travel stories. If your cruising to Alaska or flying to Ketchikan, book with Reel Alaska Fishing Charters and enjoy a wonderful time experiencing the magic that is Alaska.

Your adventure starts on a large offshore sport fishing boat. It has plenty of room for up to 6 anglers inside its enclosed cabin and runs on twin Yamaha F250 engines. It uses all the needed navigation/fishfinder/radar and is equipped with salmon & halibut fishing gear, and electric downriggers.

The boat has a private restroom and a sink with fresh water, and also features a blue tooth sound system, a refrigerator, and a HEATER! You’ll enjoy a stable ride, a pleasant warm interior, and will have plenty of space on deck.

The most prized fish you’ll go after are Chinook Salmon and Halibut but you can also target 4 other salmon species, Crab, Rockfish, and Lingcod. Salmon in this area gets huge! Don't forget the whales and wildlife, our mission is that after your trip, you’ll fall in love with Alaska!

Reel Alaska Fishing Charters offers flexible start times and provides premium name brand fishing gear, drinks, and snacks. You should buy, sign and print your fishing license before you come on board. Catch cleaning is available at $3.75 a pound of finished weight.(Just the fillets) And they can ship the fish at your convenience.

The crew is fully licensed to allow retention of your Halibut and you can ship it home or pack it for your flight to enjoy it when back home. The departure times can be adjusted to start at 6:00 a.m. A great trip for anglers of all ages!

The only place to pull your own Dungeness crab, look for whales and your choice of fishing!! 
We start off the tour over the whale watching grounds on a 12 mile run to the crabbing location. From there we put your names on the buoys, bait the pots, toss them over. Huge Dungeness crab, rock crab, and even Puget sound King/Box Crab, starfish and other oddities are hauled up in our traps. We can spend the rest of the time fishing or looking for wildlife. Adjustable start time and seafood shipping available.
