Come out and enjoy a safe and comfortable charter fishing experience on Lake Superior with Legacy Angling. Let Captain Joe provide you with a great fishing adventure on the biggest freshwater lake in the world.
Capt. Joe has spent his entire life fishing Northern Minnesota, and the last 7 years exclusively on Lake Superior. The big lake has become his passion and he finds it incredible to watch the sunrise break free of the lake each morning.

The adventure starts on a 30’ Trojan flybridge called Just Chillin’. It can fit up to 6 anglers, including a bathroom, and features top-class electronics to help find the best fishing spots and have the best opportunity to hook into the catch of a lifetime. Capt. Joe along with his first mate will work the entire trip to put you on fish.

You and the crew will be fishing up to 20 miles out of the Ariel Lift Bridge in Duluth, MN. You will be trolling mostly for Lake Trout but will have a good chance at Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Walleye, Steelhead, and Brown Trout as well.

A quality experience with top-tier rods and tackle awaits you. The crew also provides fish filleting and bagging at the end of the trip at no additional charge.

A 2 person special trip is designed for a fun day on the water for a fraction of the price. This way during the week we can get some more people out for a cheaper rate! It is great for your significant other or just a buddy who wants to enjoy a nice day on Lake Superior!

2 person weekday special - 6:00 AM

You and the captain will start the trip in the morning and have a great time fishing Lake Superior's rich grounds. The trip starts at 6:00 a.m. and you will return to the dock after 5 hours. The trip includes trolling for Trout and Salmon.

5 Hour Trip (AM)

Start your fishing adventure at 3:00 p.m. and enjoy a charming twilight on Lake Superior. You and Capt. Joe will be trolling these beautiful waters for different Trout and Salmon species, with a focus on Lake Trout. The trip lasts for 4 hours.

4 Hour Trip – Twilight

2 person weekday special (Full)

This trip starts at 6:00 a.m. but you have the option to depart 15 minutes earlier if you prefer to. Experience a true fishing adventure by spending 8 hours on Lake Superior. You will be trolling for many different species of Trout and Salmon but will primarily target Lake Trout.
