Operating out of Ocean City, Coastal Guide Service’s goal is to make your trip memorable, enjoyable, and keep you safe in the process. The owner has been fishing these bountiful waters since 2009, and he can’t wait to share all his knowledge!

You will be fishing from a 28’ Dusky center console with full curtains, up to date Garmin electronics, Sat Phone, a Standard Horizon VHF radio, and all the equipment you need to catch the target species. The boat also features outriggers, downriggers, a livewell, and a cooler for your food/drinks.

Bring the whole family – the captain loves teaching kids all the fun things about fishing. Just contact him in advance if you’re bringing kids so you can agree on what you’ll be doing and so he can prepare appropriate life jackets for them. This is a very hands-on operation, and the crew lets you do as much as you would like to. If you want to gaff a fish, go for it! They can do customized trips to fit all your fishing needs. 

Species you can expect to catch depending on the time of year include Triggerfish, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sea Bass, Tautog, Bluefish, and even Sharks.

The captain will provide Penn reels, along with some custom and Star rods, live bait, and lures. Live bait is sometimes caught, sometimes bought, depending on the time of year and targeted species. You can keep the catch with fish cleaning available. 
 
Bring sunscreen, cameras, beverages (no glass), and food. It’s also a good idea to bring layered clothing.

Join us for an exciting shark fishing adventure just a short run out of the inlet. Perfect for families looking for a thrilling experience without spending the whole day on the water. While we can't guarantee a catch, shark fishing in this area is usually quite consistent.
You'll have the chance to target a variety of shark species including blacktip, spinner, sand tiger, Atlantic sharpnose, sandbar, and maybe even some other surprises lurking below the surface. This trip is ideal for up to 4 guests.

Not an early riser? Got stuff to do during the day? This trip is for you! Head out for the evening and watch the sunset as we wait for the first bite. This trip targets sand tigers along with other inshore species of sharks with the beautiful lights of Ocean City as the background. This is a catch and release trip only. Up to 4 guests.

4 Hour Trip – Nighttime Shark

Inshore has lots to offer from bluefish, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Mahi, False Albacore, and many species of sharks. Typically a short run to the fishing grounds gives you plenty of fishing time. This is another very kid friendly type of fishing. Up to 4 people

5 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM) MAX 4

This 5-hour trip will see you fishing within 20 miles of the inlet. You'll be exploring various structures in pursuit of Flounder, Seabass, Triggerfish, and others. Up to 4 guests.

5 Hour Trip – Wreck (AM) MAX 4

This trip is designed for the harcore fisherman! Depending on the migration, we will target Striped Bass (Rockfish) and/or the very saught after Bluefin Tuna (The Ghosts). The fall/winter fishery has been good the past few years with consistent catches of these big tastey fish. This trip is designed for up to 4 guests and be sure to talk to the captain about appropriate clothing as it can be cold.

Fall/Winter Special

Depending on the time of year, spend some time bottom fishing for Seabass, Flounder, Triggerfish, and other wreckfish. Then switch it up and do some trolling for Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Bluefish, Bonito, and sometimes Mahi. It's a great way to fish for multiple species on one trip. Up to 4 guests.

6 Hour Trip – Wreck/Troll (AM) MAX4

6 Hour Trip – Wreck/Troll (PM) MAX4

Let's get to fishing!! Great way to get out of the winter time blues and get on some of the best eating fish in the ocean. Golden and Blueline Tile fish is a deep water bottom dweller that taste amazing. You can hand crank or use our top of the line electric reels to pull the big ones from the depths. This special only runs into May so don't wait to grab an early deal. This trip is 8-9 hour trip for up to 4 guests.

On this 8-hour trip, you could be catching Seabass, Triggerfish, Flounder, and other species found around structures. All the needed gear is included in the price. Up to 4 guests.

8 Hour Trip – Wreck Fishing (MAX 4)

Get ready for some rod-bending action on this trip specifically tailored to targeting sharks! You'll head out for a full 8 hours of going after hard fighters such as Mako, Blue, and Thresher Shark. All your gear and fishing licenses are provided, but be sure to bring snacks and drinks to keep you sustained throughout the trip. Up to 4 guests.

8 Hour Trip – Shark (MAX 4)

Start off fishing structure for Seabass, Triggerfish, and Flounder in the morning, then set up for Shark fishing for the rest of the trip. A great way to fish for different species in one trip. Up to 4 guests.
