Operating out of Ocean City, Coastal Guide Service's goal is to make your trip memorable, enjoyable, and keep you safe in the process. The owner has been fishing these bountiful waters since 2009, and he can't wait to share all his knowledge!
You will be fishing from a 28' Dusky center console with full curtains, up to date Garmin electronics, Sat Phone, a Standard Horizon VHF radio, and all the equipment you need to catch the target species. The boat also features outriggers, downriggers, a livewell, and a cooler for your food/drinks.
Bring the whole family – the captain loves teaching kids all the fun things about fishing. Just contact him in advance if you're bringing kids so you can agree on what you'll be doing and so he can prepare appropriate life jackets for them. This is a very hands-on operation, and the crew lets you do as much as you would like to. If you want to gaff a fish, go for it! They can do customized trips to fit all your fishing needs.
Species you can expect to catch depending on the time of year include Triggerfish, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sea Bass, Tautog, Bluefish, and even Sharks.
The captain will provide Penn reels, along with some custom and Star rods, live bait, and lures. Live bait is sometimes caught, sometimes bought, depending on the time of year and targeted species. You can keep the catch with fish cleaning available.
Bring sunscreen (no-spray), cameras, beverages (no glass), and food. It's also a good idea to bring layered clothing.

We had an awesome time with Coastal Guide Service LLC! Captain Justin and the crew made our 3-hour fishing trip a great experience from start to finish. We caught a nice variety of fish, including bluefish, Spanish mackerel, kingfish, and plenty of flounder. Unfortunately, the flounder weren’t quite big enough to keep, but we had a good time catching them anyway! A big thank you to Captain Justin, First Mate Roman, and Brock. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had a good time on the water. It was a great father-and-sons outing, and most importantly, we made some great memories together. We would definitely recommend Coastal Guide Service LLC to anyone looking for a fun, relaxed, and memorable fishing charter. Thanks again, Captain Justin, Roman, and Brock! our Captain Justin and 1st mate Roman were amazing. Both guys are top notch. very knowledgeable about their craft and very easy to talk to and joke with. we started off trolling, as soon as the first four lines hit the water two fish were on. it stayed that way until we tagged out. constant action, my son and I were never so busy reeling in fish. my son caught and released a rare Angel shark, that was cool. The flounder were biting we were just unable to reel them in. wherever Justin took us the fish were there. in all we came home with 28 Spanish Mackerel, 30 blue fish and 1 cool bullet Mackerel. i totally recommend this charter, we're looking forward to booking with them again.
Justin is a very amiable and knowledgeable captain. We were out on the water for 3 hours. We started bottom fishing in the bay where we caught some flounder. then we went out to the ocean where we trolled and caught some blue fish and spanish mackerel. Roman is a first class first mate. Brock was also a huge help.
the captain and mate are very knowledgeable and we're extremely helpful for my 9 year old sons first ocean charter! Capt Justin put us directly on the fish and put a 5 person limit of blue fish in the cooler wihin 2 hours, we also caught a small cobia, a couple small jack and a Spanish mackerel. an excellent trip with great guys!
Captain Justin and 1st mate Roman were great guides. We got on fish pretty early on the trip with a small shark, followed by a 44" drum, and then a 300 to 400# sand tiger. Last catch was about a 200# sandbar shark. As with all fishing, there were lulls between catches, but we caught exactly what we hoped to get plus a surprise catch with the drum. Great experience. I've been on a few charters before. The crew and experience on this one was the best I've had.
