Operating out of Ocean City, Coastal Guide Service’s goal is to make your trip memorable, enjoyable, and keep you safe in the process. The owner has been fishing these bountiful waters since 2009, and he can’t wait to share all his knowledge!
You will be fishing from a 28’ Dusky center console with full curtains, up to date Garmin electronics, Sat Phone, a Standard Horizon VHF radio, and all the equipment you need to catch the target species. The boat also features outriggers, downriggers, a livewell, and a cooler for your food/drinks.
Bring the whole family – the captain loves teaching kids all the fun things about fishing. Just contact him in advance if you’re bringing kids so you can agree on what you’ll be doing and so he can prepare appropriate life jackets for them. This is a very hands-on operation, and the crew lets you do as much as you would like to. If you want to gaff a fish, go for it! They can do customized trips to fit all your fishing needs.
Species you can expect to catch depending on the time of year include Triggerfish, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sea Bass, Tautog, Bluefish, and even Sharks.
The captain will provide Penn reels, along with some custom and Star rods, live bait, and lures. Live bait is sometimes caught, sometimes bought, depending on the time of year and targeted species. You can keep the catch with fish cleaning available.
Bring sunscreen, cameras, beverages (no glass), and food. It’s also a good idea to bring layered clothing.

Hands-Down Amazing Experience
Hands-down one of the best fishing trips we've ever had! Justin was not only incredibly friendly but also impressively knowledgeable—his expertise was clear from the moment we hit the water. We ended the day with over 40 fish and nonstop smiles. As someone with over 30 years of experience fishing freshwater and inshore (and even owning my own boat), I can confidently say Justin knows exactly what he’s doing. I’ve been on big-name charters before and left empty-handed, but this trip was the exact opposite—worth every penny and then some. Captains like Justin are the reason people fall in love with fishing all over again. Five stars all the way. 5 Hour Trip – Wreck (PM) MAX 4
Great trip!
I booked this trip for me and my 17 year old son. Condition’s were looking rough up to until the night before. Justin stayed in contact and he made the decision to go out the night before. He was really good about keeping us in the loop. The trip was great. Every time we dropped lines in the water we were pulling fish. Had an awesome day. Planning on bringing both sons down for a duck hunt with Justin in the late fall.

4 Hour Trip - Shark (10:30 AM)
Family Shark Trip
Went out with some family and a 12 year old on the shark trip. Captain and crew were great. Enjoyable to speak with and knowledgeable. It was a 4 hour trip going off at 10:30am. Not a lot of action for the first 3 hours and then we hooked up on a nice sized shark. The 12 year old reeled it in with some help from the guys. Made his vacation and an overall great time out there. He was super pumped.

3 Hour Trip – Bay Fishing (6:00 AM)
20th anniversary trip - impromptu
Captain Justin and mate Roman were great. Conditions were not ideal and they did great putting us on a couple fish. Roman’s suggestions for after charter apres were top notch. Had dinner at the Mickey Finns (recommended) at it was amazing. Captain Justin’s boat control was impressive to say the least. Highly recommend. A+++ for this team.

3 Hour Trip – Bay Fishing (4:15 PM)
Great captain + FM
Took my son and his two cousins to fish. All of which were very much beginners. These guys were real good at being patient while trying to teach these ADHD boys fishing and we all had a blast. We were catching small bait fish, flounder, spot and croaker consistently. perfect for the boys. Gonna have these guys take us out next year.
