Based out of Dameron, Maryland Desperate Measures Guide Service is your ticket to world class Light Tackle and Fly Fishing on the Chesapeake Bay.

Capt. Cole will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in light tackle, fly fishing, bottom fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 5 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Striped Bass, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Cobia, and Redfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 26' C-Hawk boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat features an ice box and a wireless trolling motor.

All rods, reels, terminal tackle and fish cleaning are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.

Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day.

You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.

There will be complimentary snacks and drinks aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Our 8 hour fishing trips give you unlimited options on how to tackle the day. Start the day with top water fishing, looking for that surface bite, then run down big Redfish and Cobia up and down the bay. This trip gives you the possibility to fish multiple tides and change up tactics without feeling rushed for time. Mixed species days are the goal on 8 hour trips. We will employ multiple tactics through out the day to give you the greatest light tackle fishing experience the Chesapeake Bay has to offer!
