Your Fishing Charter

Explore the waters of British Columbia with Fijian Son Fishing Charter! Captain William is based in Sooke and runs fishing trips year-round. He's been fishing these waters for over 30 years and has lots of trophy catches under his belt. Most of all, he likes sharing his love for this sport with other people and teaching them how to do the same.

You'll be fishing on a 21' Seaswirl boat that accommodates up to 3 guests. This cuddy cabin is powered by a 200 HP Mercury engine and reaches the speed of 25 knots. There's also a wireless trolling engine when you need to sneak up on fish. The boat features navigational electronics, safety gear, downriggers, a live bait tank, and a cooler.

Explore nearshore and offshore spots, looking for Halibut and  Salmon. There's a variety of fishing techniques you can use to catch them and Capt. William will show you his best tricks you can try out.

You can release the catch, or if you choose to keep it, the captain will clean it for you free of charge. Make sure to bring your fishing licenses and pack some snacks and drinks for the day, while the fishing equipment is covered by the captain. Kids are welcome to join as well. Kids 10 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
