Your Fishing Charter

Riptide Charters is located in Half Moon Bay and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. The crew offers sport fishing trips off the San Mateo, and San Francisco coast of California and caters to smaller groups and charters.

Capt. William will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Rockfish, and Lingcod, depending on the season and conditions on the day. Bluefin Fishing trips are also available. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, and big game fishing.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 40' Northwest boat that can safely take up to 20 anglers. This boat comes with a Microwave and a toilet.

Please keep in mind that rods, reels, and terminal tackle are not included in the price of Rockfishing but are for Bluefin for your trip. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. Bait isn’t included in the trip price, so make sure to check with the captain what your options are before the trip.

Captain William always strives to provide the best possible experience for his guests. This trip will see you and other anglers chase Salmon for 8 fun-packed hours. You will leave the dock at 6:00 a.m. and return to the dock at 2:00 p.m. Once the legal amount of fish is caught, we must head back since it's not legal to fish anymore.

Full Day - Salmon Shared

Bring your family or friends on this exciting fishing trip for Bluefin or Albacore Tuna. You will enjoy 12 hours on the water chasing these tasty species and will also have fun trying to capture them. Tackle is provided. Bring your own food and drinks. Once the legal amount of fish is caught, we must head back since it's not legal to fish anymore. This trip is for a maximum of 6 people. 

Full Day Tuna (Shared Max 6 People)

Join Captain William and have a great time chasing Rockfish. The check-in is at 6:30 a.m. The trip starts at 7:00 a.m. and lasts until 3:00 p.m. Before you come on board, make sure to bring your fishing equipment, bait, as well as some food and drinks. Rental Rods are available on board.Once the legal amount of fish is caught, we must head back since it's not legal to fish anymore.

Full Day Trip – Rockfish Weekday

You and your family or friends will have a lovely time on the rich waters of California. Join Captain Smitty and spend a fun day targeting tasty Rockfish on a weekend day. The check-in is at 6:30 a.m. The trip begins at 7 a.m. and you will return at 3:00 p.m. Rod rentals are available on board. Once the legal amount of fish is caught, we must head back since it's not legal to fish anymore.
