Take your whole family and embark on an unforgettable fishing adventure together with Reel Experience Fishing Charters. From inshore and nearshore waters to the backcountry, there’s a wide variety of fishing spots you can visit in Palmetto and have a great time chasing many different species. Join Captain Donny Freeman and let him create a wonderful fishing experience in Florida for you and your loved ones!

The boat you’ll be using is a 23' Custom Hanson. It can sit up to 6 guests and uses a 200 HP Yamaha V6 Saltwater Series engine. Thanks to its GPS, fishfinder, as well as radio technology, the boat will take you to the fish quickly and safely. There’s a wireless trolling motor used for a quieter approach to the fish, a livewell for providing live bait, and an ice box to store your food and drinks.

Using spinning on light tackle, you and Captain Donny will be chasing Gag Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Tarpon, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, and Redfish. You’re free to choose whether you’ll release your catch or keep it. Kids are more than welcome to come aboard, so bring them aboard and enjoy a lovely family trip together.

Captain Donny will supply you with the fishing tackle, live bait, lures, licenses, as well as drinks. Also, he can clean and bag your catch completely free of charge. Yours is just to bring the snacks of your choice and prepare for lots of fun on board.

This trip is for the kiddos, who may not yet be sure about boating for the full 4 hours. Not targeting giant fish, but constant action to keep them engaged and interested, while learning about the different species.

2 Hour inshore “kids trip”

On this trip, you and Captain Donny will be targeting whatever species is currently offering the most action. Most of the year includes Snook, Mangrove Snapper, Mackerel, Jack, Trout, Grouper, as well as Tarpon.

Half Day Trip

On this trip, you and the captain will be going into the gulf to target a variety of species. This trip allows you to target more species for the dinner table as well. Just bring the snacks of your choice to stay energized and the captain will take care of everything else.

Half Day Trip – Nearshore

Enjoy your trip for a longer spell and spend 6 hours targeting Snook, Snapper, and other great fighting fish. You and the captain will leave the dock at 8:00 a.m. He's got you covered for everything you'll need except for food, so make sure you bring your favorite snacks before you depart.

3/4 Day Trip – Inshore

This trip enables us to fish the gulf and chase species such as snapper, grouper, and hogfish!
