Big Shot Charters is located in Panama City Beach and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters for parties of all sizes from 2-42! She can comfortably fish up to 20 people at ONE time. Don't worry if you have more than 20, the Big Shot can handle parties up to 42! 

Captain Alicia and her crew will do their best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. 
Our Deep Sea Fishing Trips range from 6-12 hours and are for anglers of all expertise. Targeted Species vary during the seasons, but include Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, White Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Amberjack, Trigger Fish, and MANY MORE. 

Your fishing adventure starts on a 55' Defender walkaorund boat that can safely take up to 42 anglers. This boat is fully airconditioned, has a restroom, plenty of seating indoors and some on the back deck.  She runs on triple Detroit diesel engines and uses extensive navigation gear.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle and dead bait are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day.

Long Shot Charters – F/V Big Shot

Go bottom fishing in the amazing and productive Gulf of Mexico. You'll be sailing 25 to 35 miles offshore in search of various species that congregate around reefs. This includes Snapper species like Red, White, Black, Lane, and Vermilion Snapper, as well as Red and Gag Grouper, Triggerfish, and Amberjack. Please keep in mind, these fisheries vary from season to season and can change at any time.

This is a trolling trip for Spanish Mackerel around St. Andrew Bay and along the sandy-white beaches. It is a great way to get the family and kids out for a special day on the water. 

With this style of fishing, we troll 4 rods behind the boat and as those fish hook themselves your group will take turns reeling them in! 

Not only will you have the opportunity to catch fish, you will also have the opportunity to see the dolphins along with other native wildlife such as the Florida Osprey.

3 Hour Spring Special (Morning)

This is a trolling trip for Spanish Mackerel around St. Andrew Bay and along the sandy-white beaches. It is a great way to get the family and kids out for a special day on the water. 

We troll 4 rods behind the boat and as those fish hook themselves your group will take turns reeling them in! 

Not only will you have the opportunity to catch fish, you will also have the opportunity to see dolphins and the native Osprey.

3 Hour Spring Special (Mid Morning)

This is a trolling trip for Spanish Mackerel around St. Andrew Bay and along the sandy-white beaches. It is a great way to get the family and kids out for a special day on the water. 

We will troll 4 rods behind the boat and as those fish hook themselves your group will take turns reeling them in! 

Not only will you have the opportunity to catch fish, you will also have the opportunity to see the dolphins and Osprey.

3 Hour Spring Special (Afternoon)

This is a near coastal trolling trip within 4-5 miles of the beach, targeting the local migratory pelagic species. The target species include King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, and Bonito. Sometimes you will get lucky and catch some small Mahi-Mahi. If you’re really lucky, you may have the opportunity to catch and release Sailfish or harvest Blackfin Tuna which happens a few times a year! The vessel will stay moving at all times with 4 rods that the mate will set at different depths and lengths

4 Hour Trip – Trolling

This is a near coastal trolling trip within 4-5 miles of the beach, targeting the local migratory pelagic species. The target species include King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, and Bonito. Sometimes you will get lucky and catch some small Mahi-Mahi. If you’re really lucky, you may have the opportunity to catch and release Sailfish or harvest Blackfin Tuna which happens a few times a year!

4 Hour Trip – Trolling PM

Experience deep sea fishing like never before and join Big Shot Charters on this offshore excursion off of the Florida Panhandle coast!
