Our Deep Sea Fishing Trips range from 6-12 hours and are for anglers of all expertise. Targeted Species vary during the seasons, but include Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, White Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Amberjack, Trigger Fish, and MANY MORE.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 55' Defender walkaorund boat that can safely take up to 42 anglers. This boat is fully airconditioned, has a restroom, plenty of seating indoors and some on the back deck. She runs on triple Detroit diesel engines and uses extensive navigation gear.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle and dead bait are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day.

Always great with Captain Alecia
6 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing - 12:30 PM on May 27, 2026 • 7 adults
The level of customer service you would expect from a great Captain. The morning started off with high winds and i reveived a phone call from Alecia asking if i wanted to reachedule. My kids being kids said they wanted to go anyways and away we went. The day turned out great and ended up with about 30lbs of fish for our 6 hour trip. i would 100% recommend Longshot charters to anyone whos looking for a great day of fishing!

8 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing on June 8, 2025 • 5 adults
The weather was marginal and we were told it was going to be rough before heading out.
It was rough but we were put on the fish. 2 very nice snapper and 5 total. Would have likely limited out but a couple of fishermen cried uncle and were very green around the gills.
Captain Alicia was understanding and got us back to dry land.
I was very happy that we were charged for actual time on the water and not for the original 8 hour booking. Very grateful to the company for doing that for us. Obviously a lot of great honest people work for this top notch organization.
I look forward to getting back out there with Griffin and Captain Alicia to slay the fish.

Thank you for the wonderful review Greg. I hate the seas were angry and the younger ones got sick. We try and be as upfront and honest with all our guests as we can be beforehand. As for the adjustments to the rate we do our best to be fair when things don’t always work out for the whole day. Great Family Trip
6 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing on May 26, 2026 • 8 adults • 2 children
Great Family trip. Capt was great and experienced with all the curveballs. The Deck Hand was very attentive to the kids to make sure they enjoyed the time and experience on the water. I would recommend to a large group anytime 10/10. Equipment is heavy for very young children is the only issue but hey it’s saltwater rigs it cant be too light weight and still work.

great day in the bay
3 Hour Spring Special (Mid Morning) on April 2, 2026 • 8 adults
family group of 8, ranging in ages 13-80. we all had a great time. Captain Alicia and Griff were both wonderful. we kept Griff busy helping us reel them. we did the 3 hour trip and that was perfect for this group. this was the most fish we’ve ever caught on a trip like this. we all loved it.
