Your Fishing Charter

Snap Em Up Fishing offers you nearshore, offshore, wreck, and reef fishing trips out of Tavernier, Florida. Apart from a fun and exciting chase for various tough-fighting and tasty fish, Captain Will Coffin also offers you a chance to enjoy targetting Lobster. Captain Will has been fishing all his life and has worked dedicatedly to build his skills and acquire his skills. Join him aboard and have a memorable experience as you explore the beautiful and fish-rich waters of Florida!

Your trip takes place on a 29 Sea vee center console. It accommodates 4 guests, runs on twin 300 HP mercury verado engines, and has got a portable toilet you can use. The boat features modern navigation technology, a livewell, and an ice-box.

Using techniques such as bottom fishing, drift fishing, trolling, and more, you’ll target Yellowtail, Mutton, and Vermilion Snapper, Black and Snowy Grouper, Kingfish, Sailfish, Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, and Wahoo. It’s up to you whether you’ll keep your catch or return it back into the water.

Captain Will supplies you with all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, as well as fishing licenses. If you keep your catch, he’ll be happy to clean it and fillet it for you. Just bring whatever food you like and you’ll be ready for your adventure.

With this trip, you get to go fishing without having to make it a whole day event. The captain will take you to nearshore fishing spots where the anglers can enjoy fast-action fishing catching Snapper and a variety of other species. This trip is nice for anglers who want to fish but also want to have enough time to do other fun Keys activities and this trip does just that!

2 Hour Trip – Snapper

This trip involves you getting in the water and using a tickle stick and a net to catch spiny Lobster. The captain will explain and demonstrate how to catch it and then you'll be able to catch it yourself. Most of the Lobster spots are in 8' of water. Keep in mind that you should know how to snorkel if booking a Lobster trip.

4 Hour Trip – Lobster

Due to its time limit, this trip will specifically be a reef or wreck fishing trip. On half days you can expect to target Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Sailfish, King Mackerel, Grouper, and occasionally Wahoo.

4 Hour Trip (AM) reef/wreck

A Lobster trip will see you get into the water and use a stick and net to catch Lobster. The captain will teach you how to catch this delicious species so you can catch it yourself. Be aware that this trip requires you to know how to snorkel.

6 Hour Trip – Lobster

On this trip, you will target Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Grouper, Kingfish, Sailfish, and possibly Wahoo.

4 Hour Trip (PM) reef/wreck

This trip is spent fully as a reef and wreck trip chasing Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Black Grouper, red grouper,Kingfish, sailfish,and maybe even Wahoo.

6 Hour Trip reef/wreck

This trip is specifically targeting mahi and tuna. There can also be time to fish the reef for snapper and other species as well.

6 hour AM mahi/tuna and reef

This trip is specifically targeting mahi/tuna there will also be time to fish the reef for snapper and other species as well.

6 hour PM mahi/tuna and reef

This full day trip Reef/wreck fishing consists of chasing Yellowtail and Mutton Snapper, Sailfish, Kingfish, Grouper, and perhaps wahoo.

8 Hour Trip reef/wreck

This trip is specifically targeting mahi and tuna. Reef and wreck fishing can also be done later in in this trip.
