Apart from a fun and exciting chase for various tough-fighting and tasty fish, Captain Will Coffin also offers you a chance to enjoy targetting Lobster. Captain Will has been fishing all his life and has worked dedicatedly to build his skills and acquire his skills. Join him aboard and have a memorable experience as you explore the beautiful and fish-rich waters of Florida!
Your trip takes place on a 29 Sea vee center console. It accommodates 4 guests, runs on twin 300 HP mercury verado engines, and has got a portable toilet you can use. The boat features modern navigation technology, a livewell, and an ice-box.
Using techniques such as bottom fishing, drift fishing, trolling, and more, you'll target Yellowtail, Mutton, and Vermilion Snapper, Black and Snowy Grouper, Kingfish, Sailfish, Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, and Wahoo. It's up to you whether you'll keep your catch or return it back into the water.
Captain Will supplies you with all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, as well as fishing licenses. If you keep your catch, he'll be happy to clean it and fillet it for you. Just bring whatever food you like and you'll be ready for your adventure.

6 Hour Trip Reef/Wreck on April 18, 2026 • 2 adultsCaptain Will took us on a combination trip today after Blackfin Tuna and Yellowtail Snapper. We got a boat limit of both. He is excellent at rigging, has premium fishing equipment (top of the line Shimano trolling and spinning gear, clean and well appointed SeaVee) and all gear worked exactly as it should. I took my girlfriend who has less experience, and she had a great time - this is the best charter she has ever been on. I have fished all over the world, and Will is one of the best. We will be back on Captain Will’s boat, regardless of the target species next time we are in town.

Captain will started out with a great spot to grab our bait that my boys, 9 and 11, enjoyed watching the process of. We traveled to at least 6 different locations trying to catch fish that were just stubborn all day long. We had signs both on the radar and natural showing fish in our locations but they just wouldn't take the bait. Fortunately we signed up for the 6 hour trip because in our last hour we landed 3 kingfish and 3 yellow jacks. We were very pleased with Captain Wills determination and efforts to land fish! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great day on the water!

6 hour mahi/tuna and reef on January 11, 2026 • 3 adultsCapt Will was at the dock ready to rip when we arrived. His 29’ Seevee was the perfect platform for our trip. We quickly secured bait then headed offshore. We wanted quality not quantity and he knew where to find it. We got all the gear out and doubled up after a bit. The fish did not cooperate and crossed up lines. We were bummed but capt was determined to get us on more. We shortly had another hot amd mamaged to grt him to the boat. Sailfish. such a cool fish. As we were releasing we had another rod go off. Hooked,fought and landed our second solid sized sailfish. On the way in we got a monster Mutton snapper bottom fishing. We kept him and provided us an amazing dinner. Capt Will is a pro. We will absolutely head out with him again!

6 Hour Trip Reef/Wreck on March 12, 2026 • 3 adultsWe fished the 10th and 12th March 26’. Caught 3 large Sail Fish Kite fishing and 12 Yellow Tail Snapper, 1 large Mahi, Blue and Bionita. Only 6 hour tour each day but Captain added 30 minutes each time to make uo for Bait carching time spent on the flats. Radio chatter indicated we caught more than the other Charters in the area. Boat was well stocked with gear, clean and fast. Will is the Captain and the only crew member but that was sufficient for us 3 Adult Men. Definitely planning to Book with Will next time.

Captain is incredibly knowledgeable and we all had a great time

We caught 4 really big mutton and 14 yellow tails. It was a great fishing trip. I woukd recommend him to anyone looking to go fishing in islamorada!

4 Hour Trip reef/wreck - 1:00 PM on February 3, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 childrenWe would highly recommend Will for a day out fishing! The weather was cold, windy and not coorperating while we were down in the Keys. I searched for a charter and decided to pick a day and hope for some luck! Will was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helped my boys 12 and 13 reel in a catch of a lifetime. We will be back next year and will definitely choose this charter again! Captain Will is Excellent
6 Hour Trip Reef/Wreck on December 30, 2025 • 2 adultsCaptain Will was able to take a difficult fishing day and make it a success for my grandson Max and I! I have been fishing in the Keys for years and know when a captain is challenged due to conditions and has to fall back on experience as well as be creative to put you on fish. Captain Will did that for us yesterday and turned my annual trip with my grandson into a success. I highly recommend using Captian Will. Bill

I don't do reviews but had to review Captain Will. He tailored the trip to what we wanted to target, then worked hard to get us on fish, and keep us on fish, in incredibly rough seas and high winds when no one else was putting groceries in the boat. He not only knows the near and offshore waters but is a really good guy you will enjoy spending a few hours with. If you want to catch a lot of fish and have a fantastic overall experience, Will is the guy. Have had multiple guides over the years in Islamorada, all of whom were better than average, but Will is by far the best and is the only one I recommend.

This was a great trip. Captain Will was very friendly and knowledgeable. He spent time chatting with us and worked diligently to find us spots to catch our targeted species. He took us out to catch bait first thing in the morning and then took us to several spots. We caught three King Mackerel and many Bonita. A lot of vessels were struggling to catch much that day and he was able to put us on some great spots to catch some great fish. He was a pleasure to be around and we enjoyed our trip. I did have some issues with our overall experience. captain Will does not have a first mate, so it was difficult for him to do everything wich is completely understandable. However, there were only two out of four who were able to fish at a time. I feel as though he could have rigged all four of us up so we could all be fishing. As it stood, two of us were always sitting there just awaiting our turn. He took our time to clean his boat. I understand that fish blood is difficult to remove when dried and can be a pain to remove. However, cleaning the boat should be done at the end of the trip and not on our time we have reserved to fish. After we caught two mackerel, he left them on the boat instead of getting them on ice. I had to ask him if he had an ice box we could put them in, when he told me where it was, I placed them in the ice box. Please know, my high rating still stands, but I want to be honest and provide constructive criticism. Again, he was excellent, just a few things I wanted to bring up.
