Come visit California and have a memorable day on the water with Ez Sportfishing! You’ll enjoy and have lots of fun fishing the highly productive waters of Huntington Beach, a first-rate angling destination with an excellent view of the Pacific Ocean. You and Captain Eric will explore both inshore and offshore spots along with reefs and wrecks that are always a good source of fish. Come and see the great natural diversity of South California as you enjoy a day on the water.

Captain Eric uses a 28’ Parker pilothouse boat that’s powered by two 250 HP Yamaha engines and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The boat’s got a toilet, bed, and flybridge, uses full-featured navigation electronics, and is equipped with outriggers, a livewell, and an ice-box. Also, there will be a first mate present on board to give you any assistance you may need.

The waters around Huntington Beach are especially productive and offer many different species to catch. There’s calico bass, yellowtail, mahi mahi, Tuna, Rockfish, Lingcod, Halibut, Swordfish, and many more to chase. You can also try out various techniques to catch them, including bottom fishing, trolling, kite fishing, and more. You’re free to choose if you’ll keep or release the fish you catch.

Captain Eric supplies you with all the rods, reels, tackle, and live bait, and he’ll also clean your catch free of charge. Before you depart, just pack some food and drinks and don’t forget your fishing licenses. Due to the fluctuating fuel prices, trips may be subject to a fuel surcharge.

3 Hour Trip – Kids (7AM)

This trip is excellent whether as an introduction to fishing or just a day on the water. You'll be fishing for Bass, Barracuda, and Rockfish, and if you're lucky, Yellowtail or Halibut will come over the rail as well. Note: Customers must purchase a California fishing license prior to the trip.

5 Hour Trip (AM)

Have a great introduction to fishing or simply spend a beautiful day on the water. Whatever the case, you'll target Barracuda, Bass, and Rockfish. Sometimes you'll bump into Yellowtail or Halibut as well. Note that you can also start your trip at 4:00 p.m. Note: Customers must purchase a California fishing license prior to the trip.

5 Hour Trip (PM)

California spiny Lobster is the best in the world and because of that they generally are exported and you probably have never seen it available here. Now's your chance to go and catch it! The season runs from October to March.

5 Hour Trip – Local Lobster

You'll fish for various exotic species. Yellowtail is considered California’s best fighting fish, White Seabass is the most sought-after game fish on the Southern California Coast, while Tuna can often be found going to or from the island. The available species also include Calico Bass, Bonito, Barracuda, and Sheepshead. Note: Customers must purchase a California fishing license prior to the trip.

8 Hour Trip – Catalina Island

Spend even more time fishing around Catalina Island. The exotic species you'll chase include battling Yellowtail, highly sought-after White Seabass, Tuna, Bonito, Calico Bass, Barracuda, or Sheepshead. Note: Customers must purchase a California fishing license prior to the trip.

11 Hour Trip – Catalina Island

You and the captain will strictly fish for pelagics: Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail, Mahi Mahi, and Marlin. Note: customers must purchase a California fishing license prior to the trip. Offshore trips are limited to 4 people unless approved by the captain prior to the trip.

8 Hour Trip – Offshore

8 Hour Trip – Catalina Lobster

Twelve hours on the ocean give you a huge amount of time to enjoy the water and chase fish. You'll target pelagic species – Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, Marlin, Yellowtail, and Mahi Mahi. Note: customers must purchase a California fishing license prior to the trip. Offshore trips are for 4 people unless approved by the captain prior to the trip.
