Reef Runner Charters Key West is a locally owned and operated business offering fun, professional fishing trips out of Historic Charter Boat Row. With over 10 years of experience, our crew knows how to put you on fish and ensure a great time—whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned angler.

You’ll fish aboard a 34’ Crusader that fits up to 6 guests comfortably. The boat features a toilet, ice box, and fighting chair, making it ideal for both quick reef trips and full-day offshore adventures. All rods, reels, tackle, and licenses are included, and you can keep any legal catch.

Trips range from 4 to 12 hours and target seasonal species like Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Wahoo, Sailfish, Grouper, and more. Every trip is customized to the conditions and your goals.

Owner-operator Edward may be your captain or mate, but he’s always hands-on and focused on making your day productive and enjoyable. If a mate is aboard, they’ll assist with baiting, gaffing, and cleaning your catch. Gratuities are greatly appreciated.

Cold drinks are provided, and you’re welcome to bring snacks or extra beverages. We’re a family-friendly charter—kids are more than welcome!

Kick off your day with a sunrise on the water! This 4-hour morning trip is perfect if you want to get fishing without spending the whole day offshore. We’ll target reef favorites like Snapper, Grouper, and Mackerel, with the chance to troll for Mahi or Tuna when conditions are right.  It’s an excellent choice for families, beginners, or anyone looking for a fun morning on the water. All licenses, bait, gear, ice, and waters are included — just bring snacks, sunscreen, and drinks.

There’s nothing better than ending your day with a Key West sunset while reeling in fish! On this 4-hour afternoon trip, we’ll work the reefs and wrecks for Snapper, Grouper, and Mackerel, with opportunities to troll for Mahi, Tuna, or even a Sailfish if they’re nearby.  Perfect for families or groups who want a relaxed yet exciting evening on the water. We’ve got all the fishing gear, bait, licenses, ice, and waters covered — just bring food, drinks, and sunscreen.

Half Day Trip (4 hours) (PM)

Start your morning with the sunrise and plenty of fishing action. With 6 hours, we can head further offshore while still working the reefs and wrecks. Expect to chase Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, and also drop for Grouper or Snapper.  This trip is the sweet spot between a half day and full day — more time, more variety, and plenty of excitement. All gear, bait, licenses, ice, and waters are provided. Bring snacks, drinks, and sunscreen, and get ready for a great day!

3/4 Day Trip (6 hours) (AM)

The six-hour private charter is a trip that allows you plenty of time to go further out if need be but also doesn't take up your whole day. You can go offshore to fish for Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, and more besides. Rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price of the trip, along with the necessary fishing licenses. Your catch will be cleaned and filleted after the trip so you don’t have to bother.

A full day gives us the best chance to try multiple techniques and bring home a cooler of fish. All licenses, gear, bait, ice, and waters are included — just pack food, drinks, and sun protection.

Full Day Trip (8 Hours) (AM)

Greet the sunrise with rods bending and reels screaming! A 10-hour trip gives us plenty of time to head offshore and work the reefs. We’ll target big game like Sailfish, Mahi, Wahoo, and Tuna, while also dropping down for Grouper, Snapper, and Amberjack.  This is a fantastic choice for serious anglers who want more time on the water and more chances at trophy fish. All bait, licenses, tackle, ice, and waters are provided — just bring food, drinks, and sunscreen.
