Running angling trips out of Lighthouse Point, FishAngler invites you to check out the local fishery in style.

Capt. Mike is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, kite fishing, casting, and spinning, depending on what you're going after.

As part of your trips, you can target species like Sailfish, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Dolphin, Tuna, Swordfish, and Amberjack, depending on the current season and weather conditions.

Your adventure begins on board a 40' Intrepid boat that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers. The boat is fitted with a toilet and ice box. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price.

The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip. You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip. You'll find water on the boat for your convenience, but you're always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to.

Method of choice to put fish in the box and dinner on the table. In this method, we target Tilefish both Golden and Blueline as well as Blackbelly Rosefish and Barrelfish. We use an electric reel and drop 5 to 10 hooks with bait at a time down to 750–1000 feet for these great-eating species. Keep in mind Mahi Mahi and Tuna show up often when deep dropping in those depths.

5 Hour Trip – Deep Dropping

Drift fishing includes Captain Mike taking you to his highly sought-after spots for Snapper, Grouper, African Pompano, and other species. Live bait is recommended to purchase to increase your odds.

5 Hour Trip – Drift and Wreck

Trolling for pelagic trophies includes dragging baits targeting fish like Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, and Tuna. You will have a good chance with this package leaving with dinner and great memories.

5 Hour Trip – Trolling

Sportfishing targets trophy big fish such as the Sailfish, Wahoo, and Kingfish using big live bait on kites, downriggers, or out of the outriggers slow trolled depending on conditions. This package is highly recommended to catch a fish of a lifetime!

8 Hour – Drift and Wreck

Swordfish here out of Hillsboro inlet, in beautiful Pompano Beach, Florida is some of the best in the world!! Being that it is so close to the fishing grounds here we are able to do world-class Swordfish charters for a memory of a lifetime. Keep in mind on the way out and in we often catch Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and Tripletail if we find something floating and bycatch of Mahi when Swordfishing.
