Patriotic Guide Service operates out of Holiday, FL, providing a range of trips to suit any schedule. Co-captains David and Michael been fishing their whole life, and have joined forces to provide the highest level of service possible.

Spend the morning fishing the local inlets before the sun kicks in, or pass the whole day on board, targeting Snapper, Grouper, Kingfish and more offshore. Fancy something even more exciting? Fish into the night in search of huge Bull and Hammerhead Sharks for some serious heart-pounding action.

No matter which trip you choose, you can fish with confidence aboard Patriotic Guide Service’s 25’ Tidewater Bay Max boat. Built in 2021, this hardy vessel can cruise at 35 knots, carrying up to five guests to the best waters at speed.

The vessel comes equipped with GPS and fishfinder to make sure you are always fishing in the right place. Her trolling motor and power pole will let you stalk the shallows in silence in search of spooky Tarpon and big tailing Reds, and her huge twin livewells come loaded with enough quality live bait to tempt in half the ocean.

Once you sink your hook, you can rely on the boat’s quality tackle to get the job done. You will be supplied with brand new, top of the line Penn reels, twinned with custom-built rods. If fly fishing is more your style, you will be kitted out with 8-weight Pflueger Patriarch rods and G Loomis reels. 

No matter what trip you choose, you can trust Captains David and Michael to take you to the best spots around and to work tirelessly to put you on the fish. All trips come with tackle, bait, and lures. They will even clean and fillet all your catch for you at the end of the day, so all you need to bring is your camera and your biggest cooler!

This specialty inshore offers a great day on the water before the heat of the day begins. All of our inshore trips target a variety of species, such as Redfish, Snook, Trout, Tarpon, Cobia, Snapper, and more. All gear, bait, and beverages are provided on these trips.

2 Hour Trip - Beat The Heat

New trip for 2025 ! We will spend 5 hours fishing the back country of the anclote river! Pitching docks , Oyster Beds , and Deep holes in search of Sheepshead, Redfish, Black Drum, and Trout . These river trips are a great way to be protected from the wind , stay warm, and fill the box with great table fare on our cold florida mornings!

5 hour winter river trip

Spend the morning targeting a range of inshore favorites, including Redfish, Snook, Trout, Tarpon, Cobia, Snapper, and more.

4 Hour Trip - Inshore (AM)

The trip will consist of snorkeling in the beautiful waters of the Gulf for bay scallops. The is all inclusive from gear and scallop cleaning at the end of the trip to beverages. On these trips, you will commonly see dolphins and other marine life in their natural habitat. Departure point for this trip: Anclote River Park, located at 1119 Bailies Bluff Road, Holiday FL, 34691.

5 Hour Scalloping Trip

New trip for 2025 ! We will spend 5 hours fishing the back country of the anclote river! Pitching docks , Oyster Beds , and Deep holes in search of Sheepshead, Redfish, Black Drum, and Trout . These river trips are a great way to be protected from the wind , stay warm, and fill the box with great table fare on our cold florida afternoons !

5hr Afternoon River trip

Spend the afternoon in some of the best scalloping waters in the state ! Pasco county only offers a limited season to participate in this delicous easter egg hunt ! All gear is included, including: snorkel gear, bags and anti fogging  spray !

Afternoon Scallop Trip

This trips is to specifically target grouper in the months of October November, and December. We fish depthes from 8-25 feet of water targeting these drag screaming, great eating dinosaurs ! On these trips we also have the possibility of catching mangrove snapper, grunts , cobia, mackeral , and kingfish!

Get out on the water for an afternoon targeting Redfish, Snook, Trout, Tarpon, Cobia, Snapper, and more.

4 Hour Trip - Inshore (PM)

Ever had the dream of catching Jaws? Want to tangle with an 8 foot Bull Shark or an athletic Spinner Shark?! Book with Patriotic Guide Service and tangle with the top of the food chain.

A couple of extra hours mean even more amazing fish! Redfish, Snook, Trout, Tarpon, Cobia, Snapper, and more. Gear, bait, and beverages are provided.

6 Hour Trip - Inshore

This 6 hour trip will take you after the monster in the depths, the Goliath Grouper. Capable of exceeding weights of 300 pounds, battling a fish this size will take everything you have and put your fishing skills to a test. You'll use 50w reels with 400lb top shot to reel in these monsters before snapping a photo and releasing them to fight another day.

This trip is one for the offshore fisherman. On these trips we target our bottom species as well as our pelagic species. You can expect to catch Grouper, Snapper, Grunts, Kingfish, Cobia, Tripletail, and much more. Everything is included on this trip, from bait to beverages.

6 Hour Trip - Nearshore/Offshore

This is one of the captain's specialty trips. Departing the dock an hour before sunset, you'll venture off into the night to target one of the apex predators of the gulf: Sharks! The sole purpose of these trips is to target the biggest fish you can find. You'll hook into specimens such as are 8-foot Bull Sharks, 10-foot Hammerheads, and many other large species.

6 Hour Trip - Nighttime Sharks

Spend the whole day on the water, targeting the best these shallow waters have to offer, including Redfish, Snook, Trout, Tarpon, Cobia, Snapper, and much more.

8 Hour Trip - Inshore

Patriotic Guide Service offers many specialty trips, From Tarpon to Goliath Grouper to bowfishing trips, depending on the time of year. If you have a special species you want to go after, these guys will get it done.
