Captain Matthew Long will meet you in Myrtle Beach and take you on an offshore adventure in search of many different species. Come aboard to experience the beauties of fishing in a rich and beautiful environment and create memories of a lifetime!

Your boat for the day is a 32’ Boston Whaler center console that can sit up to 6 anglers. Thanks to its twin 300 HP Suzuki engines, you’ll reach the fishing spots in no time. Along with comprehensive navigation electronics, the boat is equipped with a full bathroom, autopilot, radar, Livewell, and much more. It also features a multimedia system, as well as an ice-box.

The wide variety of species you can chase on your trip includes Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Wahoo, Grouper, Amberjack, Cobia, and more. Using heavy tackle, you’ll attract fish by bottom fishing, deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, and popping. Feel free to keep the fish you catch, as well as bring kids on your trip.

When you arrive, all the fishing gear and bait will be waiting for you. Captain Matthew also covers you for catch cleaning and licenses, so you should only bring some food and drinks.

The Reel Myrtle Beach Fishing Charters - 32'

This trip is primarily aimed toward bottom fishing but can include trolling as well. The species you'll chase by trolling will primarily include King Mackerel, Barracuda, and Cobia. The species you can bottom fish are mainly Vermillion Snapper, Black Seabass, Grunt, Porgy, Grouper, Amberjack, Cobia, Shark, Triggerfish, and more. If you want to take a bunch of fish home and fill up your freezers, this is the trip for you!

This trip is a nearshore trip that mainly targets Seabass, Flounder, and other nearshore species. Departure time is flexible and can be adjusted after the booking is confirmed.

4 Hour – Winter Special Nearshore

This is an excellent trip to load up on good-eating fish this time of year! Fishing on this trip is primarily bottom fishing. When bottom fishing this time of year the primary target is Black Seabass and Grouper. Grouper closes on December 31, so trips booked after then will be mainly Black Seabass.

5 Hour - Winter Special 20 miles

Fishing on this trip can include trolling, bottom fishing, or a combination of both. By trolling, you'll primarily fish for King Mackerel, Cobia, Barracuda, Spanish Mackerel, and Bluefish. When bottom fishing, you can target Grunt, Porgy, Sea Bream, Seabass, Sharks, Flounder, and more.

6 Hour Trip – Offshore 20–30 Miles

This year we have a 2 day Red Snapper season in the South Atlantic.  This trip is one of two days this year that we are allowed to keep Red Snapper.  We will also fish for grouper, cobia, triggerfish, vermillion snapper, black sea bass, white grunts, and more.  Fishing will be between 35-55 miles offshore.  

9 Hour Bottom Fishing Red Snapper

This trip is an extended bottom fishing trip reaching deeper water and less pressured fishing grounds. Species such as Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, Triggerfish, Amberjack, and some less common exotics that we only see in the deeper water will be found on this trip.

10 Hour – Deep Bottom 50–60 Miles

Trolling for Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Billfish, and more, and bottom fishing for species such as Grouper and Snapper.

8 Hour Trip – Offshore 40–50 Miles
