Your Fishing Charter

Come join Captain Chawin for a fun-filled day fishing our beautiful waters of Sayulita! Captain Chawin (Juan Luis) belongs to the 4th generation of a local fishermen family & has over 30 years of experience fishing Sayulita, inshore and offshore waters. Having a guide with that much experience is always a plus, especially if you’re a novice angler or simply don’t have much experience fishing around Mexico. Chawin & his crew we’ll be happy to guide you! A fishing trip is also a perfect opportunity to view the village and surrounding beaches from the Pacific.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 24 ft Nava Mexican ‘panga’ – a classic open-bow fishing boat built in 2022. Powered by an FT60 GEHDL Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots, that can safely take up to 4 anglers. It’s equipped with a livewell to hold plenty of live bait for any style of fishing, which is usually caught during the trip. The panga is covered to protect you from the sun as well. All rods, reels, and tackle are included in the price, as well as the fishing license and gas. 

Success is almost always guaranteed. Some of the most common fish, depending on the season, are Dorado or Mahi-Mahi, Amberjack, Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna, Roosterfish, and Bonito. Your catch will be cleaned or filleted upon request, at no extra charge.

Spend a full day fishing off of Sayulita coastline. We'll leave from the beach at 7.00 am and be back at 5 pm.

The trip includes fishing equipment, drinks (water, sodas and beer), gas, license and boat captain. Please pack some snacks and sunscreen (and a towel if you want to jump into the ocean to swim!). The crew will help you clean the fish you catch, which you'll be able to keep.
